Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand
There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.
Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Reviews for Banyan Tree Bangkok
We had heard this was a great hotel and we have stayed in a few lovely hotels so we were interested to see what Banyan Tree was like. It is first class - probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in....hard to fault it on any level. Staff consistently courteous and helpful. Accommodation is excellent - they have thought of everything! Food in all restaurants we tried was fabulous- especially the Saffron Thai restaurant. Facilities all well maintained and well run . Quite outstanding. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Isn't it great to pay the price of a room and stay in a suite? Well that's not the only reason. The moment I step in Banyan Tree, it's relaxing as I always associate it to a spa. And the toiletries smell good too. The room I stayed is classic, maybe next time I will try the Oasis Retreat rooms. Throughout the stay you will see a lot of nicely dressed people heading to Vertigo :)

My boyfriend and I stayed for the last part of a trip for my 40th. The hotel was great..! Check in was warm and friendly. We were given a beautiful fresh flower wrist garland and a cooling drink. Our room was on the 47th floor. The room was beautiful and very relaxing, comp,. We dined at Vertigo on our first night and had drinks at Latitude on the 2nd. We ordered room service on the second night and unfortunately the dish we ordered wasn't very nice. Was cold and my partners meal was incorrect. The sleep was disturbed. Despite being on the 47th floor we heard the traffic all night! The glass is very, very thin. Worrying for being so high. Unfortunately our room was also not cleaned after our first night. We had to contact House Keeping for it to be cleaned. This was disappointing in such a hotel. The pool was lovely. We both enjoyed the complimentary massage given by the pool staff. The hotel is in a good location. Views are amazing . Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Staff are very welcoming. You need to get cabs everywhere, traffic is crazy! Cabs are very cheap though..!

We stayed at the Banyan Tree in Bangkok for the first three nights when we arrived in Bangkok. We arrived early before check-in and were allowed to already stay in the pool area where we would get a locker and could already take a shower after the long flight. The day we checked out was a similar situationas we were leaving at 6 p.m. and could stay in the pool area until that time and get dressed there. Our room in the 43rd floor was clean and we had a great view over the city. The breakfast was the best we had in Thailand in all three weeks we were there. The rooftop bar has an excellent view over the City but the Prices are quite high. One beer costs almost 10 €. But for one drink and the view it is worth it. Better than the rooftop bar everyone knows from the famous movie with the bachelor party..
We stayed in a suite and rate the Banyan Tree 5 star in everything - service, cleanliness, decor, comfort, location. The free late afternoon appetizers are so good and filling that you can make this your dinner - although too many great Bangkok restaurants within a kilometre to not want to get out and about. Special thanks to suite concierge 'Palm' who went out of her way to provide detailed tips on travel to the sights.
