Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand
There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.
Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Reviews for Banyan Tree Bangkok
I stayed at The Banyan tree in Bangkok with my wife and three year old son,on arrival we checked in on the club lounge on 19th floor because we had a suite room, the check in was easy and we felt very welcomed. Our room was clean and beautiful we were invited back to the club lounge and offered complimentary cocktails and canapés which was very nice. Our stay here was wonderful and the hotel was very nice. I would like to say I big thank you to all the staff on the 19th floor club lounge who couldn’t do enough for our 3 year old son, they kept him fed and entertained and all the staff went above and beyond to make out stay very memorable. Great hotel and if I’m in Bangkok again this will be my first choice hotel Thanks Richard
This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at! The complimentary food and beverages are all amazing and all the staff are very helpful and professional. Would like to make a special mention to Mr Wat who goes out of his way every night to make sure that each and every person has an enjoyable stay here.. from helping you plan your day in Bangkok to doing magical tricks at night he has gone above and beyond to ensure we have a good trip! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a holiday to Bangkok. We definitely wished we stayed here longer & never want to leave!
Location is much cleaner than other downtown and it was convenient having free tuktuk service to Lumpini station. Lobby & Room are well organized then the most amazing thing was the high quality of service. After we checkedin, we went out from some hours for lunch then when we came back to room~ room did clean up again!!! There were additional floor towel just in front of bed. Detail of service was so impressive.

I was only in Bangkok for one night and I chose this hotel to get a little bit of luxury on my final day and also to visit the Moon bar. Generally this hotel gave me what I wanted, I thought the room was good with a really nice bathroom and I appreciated the amenities in the room. The service was also excellent from the concierge, reception and pool staff that I came in contact with. There were however 3 things that disappointed me and affected my overall experience; - poor bar service (the outside bar on a lower level to the moon bar). There were more staff than customers but I still had to get up from my seat after waiting for someone to come over for my order to ask them if they offered table service. - drink and food prices - I didnt spend as much time as I wanted to in the hotel as I could not bring myself to pay the prices they were expecting - Pool area. Firstly I have no complaints about the service and I did appreciate the free massage but I couldn't really use the pool area for as long as I wanted as there was no sun, nothing the hotel can do but poor design. I am still rating this hotel high as generally it is very good and would be a good fit for many, I wouldn't stay again however due to the above issues
We loved this hotel. It was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were luxurious. The pool was fabulous. Breakfast was unbelievable. We were really glad we stayed here for 2 nights to start off our honeymoon. The only con was the neighborhood was in the financial district and didn't have a lot of character and charm. It's close to Lumpini park so definitely check that out if you can. It's close to public transportation as well.
