Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand
There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.
Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Reviews for Banyan Tree Bangkok
This is my first ever review on trip advisor, but this hotel visit prompted me to begin reviewing. We stayed here for 3 nights enroute to Phuket for our honeymoon. It is by far one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The level of hospitality is way beyond expectations. Two particular members of the team: Noom at concierge desk and Anita in the club lounge went above and beyond to make our stay. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the 58th floor. There were many perks of staying in this room such as access to the club lounge. There was afternoon tea and happy hour additional to the breakfast. The food and variety was great! The only downside to the hotel stay was the speed of the internet access. All tourist attractions are also a tuk tuk or quick taxi journey away. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.
Very good value for money. Being an all-suite hotel, you get a lot of space in the rooms, even standard one's. This hotel is well located(walkable) for night life etc and is close to other hotels with great bars and restaurants. The only downside for me, was the size of the pool and the fact, the sun never hit it(this may have something to do with the season - Dec).

We have just had a week at the Banyan Tree hotel. The hotel lived up to all the reviews on tripadvisor. Room was clean, well apportioned with the separate living area. The staff could not do enough for you and really looked after us. We used the Spa in the hotel which was one of the best I have visited in Bangkok over the years. Hotel location requires you to catch cabs, especially at this time of year with it being so hot, too hot to walk to the skytrain (although it is only 8mins away)!
The service from the staff really made this place. We were made to feel like royalty as soon as we arrived. Travelled on our honeymoon so got some nice welcome treats! The pool on the 21st floor is great, we enjoyed the sunset there with a cocktail (although had to order drinks twice as first lot never arrived - sure just a misunderstanding). Also my husband had a free massage round the pool which he said was fab! :) The staff were very welcoming and really do make this place, nothing was too much trouble. We found it reasonable price to stay here and had a fantastic 2 night stay. Also on site bank with good rates to change money, anything you need can just ask the front desk for and they are more than happy to help. Thank you for a great stay and making our honeymoon memorable x

not the cheapest one but worth the money... I been in BKK many times but this restaurant is always a must when I stay in BKK even for one evening - you could count cca 30 - 50 $ per head (depend on the drinks) but the ambience of the pace is unforgettable. I just like it despite the fact that is a little bit far away from the "city centre". recommend for dinner but you have to take in account weather - not good when is raining
