Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand
There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.
Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Reviews for Banyan Tree Bangkok
The manager and the staff were absolutely adorable and went so much out of their way to make a particular stay (post accident) a lovely holiday. Everything from the suite, the club, the sky restaurant was idyllic. So grateful to all of them and I cannot recommend enough the Banyan Tree for any special trip!

There are hotels in Bangkok that are more modern and swish and perhaps in better locations but we loved this Banyan Tree. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the first hotel of a 3 week holiday that we actually had room to unpack. The bathroom is large but the bathtub is not. The huge picture windows give a good view of the city. The bed was blissfully comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and a fine choice of international cuisines. We did see plenty of queueing for taxis over the New Year holidays. The taxi drivers are involved in lots of scams to take tourists to shops they don't want to visit so we decided to steer clear of their wicked ways and walked almost everywhere. The rest of the time we used public transport which was a short walk away. The rooftop bar was crowded and chaotic at sunset when we visited so not a great experience for us.

The Banyan Tree is a wonderful place to stay if you’re visiting Bangkok for a few days. The service is excellent as are the rooms. The Vertigo Bar offers exceptional views as the hotel towers over everything in the surrounding area. I highly recommend staying here as you won’t be disappointed.

I stayed here with my family for Christmas, 2017. A fantastic hotel, with superb bars and restaurants, the moon bar is a special place, but the vertigo restaurant is even better, set outside on the rooftop. I also used the spa for a massage which was top quality. Truly a special place

Expensive for Bangkok but the views are amazing and the 2 rooftop bars are great. The one on the 57th floor is a more relaxed atmosphere and better for a quiet evening than the top. Limited food choices, but satay was excellent
