Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand

There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.

Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Expensive for Bangkok but the views are amazing and the 2 rooftop bars are great. The one on the 57th floor is a more relaxed atmosphere and better for a quiet evening than the top. Limited food choices, but satay was excellent

Stayed for 2 Nights at the Banyan Tree on way back from holiday trip to Thailand. The service was exceptional. The location was great for all the attractions and the level of care and attention to detail faultless. We had dinner at the Vertigo restaurant at the top of the hotel which was breathtaking. Book the 6-6.30 slot to catch the sunset over Bangkok. Food was marvellous their also. Will certainly be back.

Great hotel with great service. Location ok, although need train or taxi to get downtown. Club Room very comfortable with large bathroom and shower etc. Very clean. Only two drawbacks were too small a swimming pool with only 20 or so loungers to service 300 gguest rooms. The music in vertigo bar far too noisy to be comfortable, so just walked out

I stayed in Banyan Tree Bangkok years ago, if not mistaken in 2016. I was not a TripAdvisor user at that time but they deserve the 5*. Compared to the Banyan Tree style, the one is Bangkok is the one and only city hotel but the service is amazing. Normally city hotels do not offer personalized service, well Banyan Tree does. Roof top and saffron worth to visit and for sure the spa as well.

One of the finest properties that I have stayed in Bangkok, an absolutely marvelous hotel with great staff and great location. The rooftop is truly the crown of the hotel. The team was very efficient. Well Done.
