Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand
There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.
Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Reviews for Banyan Tree Bangkok
We stayed at the Banyan Tree Bangkok as part of a trip to the far east and had travelled to Bangkok from Hong Kong. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the staff and given a beautiful jasmine wrist garland, which smelt divine. The reception area is plush, comfy and welcoming. We completed the check in process and were offered a welcome drink whilst doing so. All very professionally managed and we were soon on our way to our room which was located on the 46th floor. The lifts were extremely hot and there didn't seem to be working air con in them, which isn't really a problem but we did think we'd hate to be stuck in one at times they were stifling. Rooms are comfy, however they are very dark. They are clean and suited are needs and we didn't spend too much time in it. On the first night we went straight up to the Moon Bar, as expected it was very busy with mostly groups of same sex people and a few couples. We weren't really fans of the bar, it was expensive and felt like a bit of a pick up joint! We had prior to our arrival been in contact with the concierge to arrange some trips and book the Baan Kahnitha river boat dinner. They were really helpful and all the arrangements we made in advance were in place as required. We would definitely recommend planning your trips in this way the team did a great job. Pool, gym and spa area are lovely and were a good way to spend an hour or so before getting ready for dinner at the end of the day. The hotel also has it's own tuk-tuk which will take you to the train stations, its complementary and we used this on one of the day. We didn't eat at the hotel with the exception of breakfast which was very good with a wide range of cuisines on offer. Truly something for everyone.

We started our honeymoon off at this hotel. We arrived at about 2am to a wonderful greeting and were able to get room service. We tried the breakfast buffet, but we were not overly impressed. Mr Wat at the concierge was very helpful with getting an impromptu trip to the floating market. The Garden bar offered great views of the city. We were not able to go to the moon bar because my husband did not pack any pants.
My wife and I held our wedding here in March 2018, and were over the moon with everything that the hotel provided. I would say without a doubt that it was unbelievable value for money. Our wedding organizer, Kingpai, was so helpful during the planning stage and made everything so easy. We met with her 2-3 times and she was easily contactable, and helped arrange accommodation for 12 members of my family who had travelled over from the UK. We had our pre-wedding photo shoot at the hotel, and the staff were very accommodating in letting us use different rooms and areas of the hotel for our photos without any problems. Everything on the day was amazing. The morning ceremony was in a beautiful room on the 10th floor, and there were plenty of staff on hand to help with everything. The evening ceremony was fantastic, in the large ballroom on the 11th floor. Every one of our guests commented on how fantastic the decorations were and how exceptional the food was. The sequence of events was very well prepared again by Kingpai and her team, and this took so much pressure off my wife and I. The overall service provided by the hotel is of the highest standard, from the moment you walk into the hotel to the moment you leave. There is a really nice pool on the 21st floor, which has a complementary 20-minute massage service in the afternoon and complementary water and juice. A perfect spot to relax. We finished up our wedding weekend with dinner at the Vertigo restaurant (where Kingpai arranged the best table in the restaurant for us), and with some cocktails at the Saffron Sky Garden on the 52nd floor. Also, a special word of thanks to Mr John Neutze (Sales and Marketing Director), who came to visit my wife and I on the day to pass on his congratulations – that was a nice touch that even someone in a high position working for the hotel knew what events were taking place that day. We all love this hotel and would recommend it to anyone else who is looking for an amazing wedding venue with fantastic value for money. Love Banyan Tree.
