lebua at State Tower

Le Bua State Tower is that rare combination of old World charm, luxury and effortless superb customer service. Our 2 night stay was the perfect anniverary celebration location, starting at check in when we were escorted to a quiet wood panelled area off the lobby, given refreshing drinks, cooling towels, the process was quick, efficient and delivered to us ! As our suite was not quite ready we were escorted to the Tower Club Lounge, with stunning City views, tasty nibbles and a full bar service. The e mail confirmed our suite was ready, and we opened the door to the luxury that would be ours for the next 2 days, Suite # 5101 is a beautiful 2 bed, 2 bathroom with a longe kitchenette and an additional luggage room, the huge wraparound balcony provided amazing views of the City and the River. We slept soundly in the luxurious bed, sipped coffee on our balcony before heading to breakfast, poolside where we were treated to a falconry display to scare off the pesky pigeons, before enjoying a gourmet breakfast, most hotels provide an egg chef, few include a breakfast meat chef, and your own " toast master". The perfect start for exploring the City before returning to the Club Lounge to escape the street heat. That evening we visited the Dome, famous for its location in the movie Hangover 2 and fabulous night City views. Sad to leave our home from home, but any return to the City must include a stay at Le Bua. If you havent, you must, you wont regret it. Thankyou Team Le Bua you exceeded our wildest expectations. Let’s get the negative out the way first. The standard rooms are not sound proof. We could hear next door talking and other things I can’t mention. They were being inconsiderate even after being told about their noise until 5 am . So if you want a quiet room you will have to choose a junior suite. Now the positives, the staff are amazing , especially (eek) who upgraded us to a suite to get some sleep after our 14 hr flight. The place is spotless and the breakfast choice is incredibly amazing with outdoor poolside view if you want to eat outdoors. Centrally located but plenty of transportation available if you want to do some sightseeing. Roof top bar is busy especially with the ones taking photos on the stairs to emulate the scene from Hangover 2 . They are supposed to have 5 mins to take pics if you don’t buy a drink, which is 50$ a glass of wine 🙄. But what a view 64 floors high. Would definitely stay there again 👍

10/10 !! We loved staying here it’s in the central of everything and the staff is wonderful ! Mike & Bo at the front desk were very helpful at all times ! Room was immaculate & the morning breakfast is phenomenal!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay – Noo is the Best! Our stay at lebua at State Tower was perfect. The food was excellent, and the entire hotel was incredibly clean with top-tier facilities. The biggest highlight was our room keeper, Noo. She was so cheerful and happy every day! She kept our room spotless and surprised us with delicious chocolates. We will definitely be back and will be recommending lebua to all our friends. Thank you, Noo, for making our trip so special!

The location might be good but the hotel needs refurbishing. It's very outdated the furniture in the rooms are old and carpets are very stained. It's definitely far off from being a 5 star hotel. The lobby smelled my sewage all the time. The breakfast has a large variety but for a breakfast in Thailand where there is so much fruit and variety of foods it needs improvement. Our travel agency was going to transfer us to another hotel and the hotel said they would not be refunding us anything so they forced us to stay. They did give us another room but still in general this hotel needs to be updated.
