Save your money and stay away from this hotel. I have high expectations for this hotel being a luxury 5 star hotel. We booked 2 nights with 3 different rooms for our family of 6. With two rooms being Tower club suite River view with lounge and one room being Tower club suite city view with lounge. No way do they care to accommodate to have us on the same floor. The hotel doesn’t even look like they’re booked. The rooms are outdated and old. Carpet in the hallways looks old and dirty. The view from the room was beautiful. The sky bar, if you’re going and it happens to rain, you can’t even step out there. The staff I feel like they are watching you like a hark! Especially at the sky bar. We were asked by 5 different staff at the 64 floor if we stay there. They didn’t ask any other people walked in there but 5 different staff asked us. It’s not like they have any promotion if we stay there so why ask and nothing else not even like “welcome”. We just find that annoying so decided not to get any drinks from there! And just went down to snack on the 52nd floor. Staff there in 52nd are super nice and more welcoming. On a note they don’t serve BEER on the bar. Only mix drinks or wine. *We regret stay here at the Labua compare to our other hotel “staybridge” a 3 star that we pay half less the price. Room at the staybridge was more up to date and the hotel is more clean. We have nice similar view except no river at the staybridge. *1st picture from 58 floor at Labua. *2nd picture from 24 floor at staybridge View is no difference!

Had an amazing experience at this hotel…we were a group of six. They provided above and beyond customer service and hospitality. View was amazing from our room, completely worth the upgrade. Bars and restaurants did not disappoint. Would definitely stay again.

Lebua at State Tower in Bangkok offers a luxurious and unforgettable stay high above the city. Located in one of Bangkok’s tallest skyscrapers, the hotel features spacious suites with panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River and city skyline. Its most famous attraction is the Sky Bar – one of the world’s highest rooftop bars – perfect for enjoying cocktails at sunset. Guests can also indulge in award-winning fine dining, an infinity pool, fitness center, and spa. With personalized service, elegant ambiance, and world-class amenities, lebua is ideal for couples, business travelers, and anyone seeking a truly elevated Bangkok experience.

If I could ask for a refund, I would. I booked Lebua with high expectations — you know, the “Hangover movie” glam and rooftop bar hype. What I got? Embassy Suites energy with luxury hotel prices and motel-level maintenance. Let’s start with the only good thing: The staff was excellent. Every person I interacted with was kind, helpful, and professional. They truly tried their best. But everything else? Yikes. Here’s what I got for the price of a 5-star hotel: • A room that looked and felt 20 years out of date, with cracks running down the walls, sloped ceilings, and an overall vibe of “hasn’t been updated since flip phones.” • Stairs and common areas with peeling finishes, damaged lighting, and ripped leather furniture in lounges that clearly haven’t seen a repair crew in a decade. • The entire exterior and interior feel neglected — not just aged, but straight-up run-down. • And the food and drinks? Absolutely ridiculous prices. I expect to pay more for a rooftop view, but the menu felt like it was trying to make up for years of deferred maintenance in one bill. We also stayed at The Standard (same price range), and it was like stepping into a different universe — stunning rooms, world-class design, and high-end restaurants that were expensive but worth it. At Lebua, I felt like a sucker. And uploading these photos is my way of making sure you’re not the next one. Unless you’re just here to relive The Hangover and plan on blacking out, I highly recommend staying somewhere else. This place is long overdue for a renovation — and an attitude check on pricing.
