2 night stop over on way to a wedding in Phuket. Great location to see the sights although the surrounding area can be a bit rough at night and you see rats running in the streets. The hotel facility was lovely great rooms lovely staff and terrific facilities. The breakfast by the pool was a lovely feature and terrific food. The price was on the high side but the choice made it worthwhile. You must go up to the sky bar as well amazing views although with beer £17 a bottle it’s a bit pricey!!! Definitely a place I would stay again if I return to Bangkok. Well worth a stay

One of the highlights of my trip to Thailand. Exceptional service, beautiful room with two balconies and amazing city views. Not expensive at all in comparison to European prices. The bar on the rooftop is a must see, beautiful swimming pool and so on. Highly recommend!

Being the highest open bar in the world, you have to take the elevator to get to it. When you reach the top of the elevator, you are greeted by a member of the hospitality team, you are guided through the corridor and through the most beautiful restaurant I had ever seen, where a string ensemble played Vivaldi to accompany one’s meal. You are then taken to the small bar area where you will be shown a drinks menu. This spot offers amazing sunset photographic opportunities and impeccable service standards. If you are lucky, you may be invited through to the famous, larger sky bar as seen in the film: ‘Hangover’. This bar is the definition of class with fountains; under-lit steps and the golden dome. It looked like something cut straight out of a James Bond film. The prices of drinks are very high, with two fruit juices, two red bulls, 2 cappuccinos and one cocktail totalling at £100approx. However the views and the extreme luxury experience will stay with you forever. It is totally worth it. Before you go to the sky bar, make sure you are dressed well, for the bars and restaurants have a dress code. I did not have any problems however this should be thought about.
