Quite an average hotel, the lobby is quite small and looks like an airport seating. I was upgarded to a suite, but upon getting there it was quite rundown and outdated. Value for money though, paid less than a $150. Area where the hotel is located is also a bit seedy. Sky bar was happening, if thats your cup of tea, great views from there

Stayed here mainly to visit the sky bar , the facilities are good with a decent gym and a large range of restaurants situated on a number of floors. Decent pool offering a range of facilities and decent cocktails. The room was good value for money but the cocktails in the sky bar will get you opening your wallet slightly deeper. While here you will have to try the hangover cocktail from the movie itself. Lots of tourists head up there to the sky bar to take in the best views of Bangkok. Worth a visit ✌️👍

Stayed 7 days. It's a pay as you go hotel. A first time experience if you never heard this before. Staff are great. Management dont care. Watch bill payment.. they are very deliberate and confusing. Caveat emptor! Rooms are big. Food pricey. Sirroco its a oncer.. try. But I'd never return. Rather stay in a respectable 4 star. Despite the hype they don't deliver. I don't criticise lightly.. it was just average. And expect to be called down to pay your bill mid way through (usd 200!!!) Or else!

Stayed there for 3 nights in the beginning of May,2018. Staff friendliness in the hotel is at the high level, but reception should really improve, they should switch staff from elevators to reception and receptionist send somewhere far away from front desk due to lack of competence. Room was slightly higher than average even we stayed on 54th floor river view suite. Breakfast was good until I saw cockroaches running around pancakes area (please find picture attached, sorry for quality- zoom was highly used). We had access to lounge on 52nd floor which was very decent place to chill and grab a drink or some snacks, but didn't feel like lounge, I suppose they should improve design, looks pretty old and boring. Best part was view from sky bar which is really stunning, but don't make a mistake as we did and don't book a table at Sirocco restaurant, way overpriced, service was good, but food- not really. I had tartar and steak(girlfriend has smth else can not remember) and I got sick even in the restaurant, staff saw me vomiting in the clothe and after running to the bathroom like 4 times in 20min. Staff finally asked if I'm ok. Unfortunately had some stomach pain for half of the night I believe it was some kind of spices in tartar over all payed for dinner including steak which couldn't even eat after being sick from tartar for about 14000bath(steak was about 3600bath) and I think it was complete wasting of money, therefore I recommend really reconsider before staying there, if you do- please be aware of restaurants. Eat somewhere else. P.s. I don't have sensitive stomach and it was the only place that I got sick in Thailand in 15days trip.

We visited with the family in April for a weekend and the first disappointment happened at the check-in where it took forever to find the reservation and get things organized. Finally another representative in a black dress had to come to get it done. The suite we had was nice but despite our reservation stating and asking for it, there was no baby cod set up. When we then wanted to dine at the rooftop restaurant, we were told that our 8 year old has to wear to long pants. We had none for him as we packed for a hot summer weekend in Bangkok! All the little girls in the restaurant wore short summer dresses and we had to explain him that we can’t eat there because he is wearing bermudas. They did not even offer a shawl to wrap around his legs to make it work. Ridiculous. When we then wanted to go out for another restaurant we waited for more than half an hour for a taxi at the hotel, not even that they could get organized. Finally, when we left very early two days later to get to the airport, we just wanted to grab some pastries for the kids to eat in the car. Instead of offering boxes etc. we were told that taking from the buffet is forbidden. Really poor service, avoid this hotel, esp with kids.
