This is a tricky review to write because we booked this hotel for the views of Bangkok and it really delivered on that. We had a two bedroom tower club suite on the 51st floor and the views were breathtaking (and this is the lowest floor of the tower club). The staff were also very good indeed, in particular on the ground floor reception at arrival and departure. There were, however, a number of irritating factors that make me question whether we would stay again. The room - our room was OLD. It is supposedly one of the most premium classes of room but it had really seen much better days and although the space was great for us as a family, it felt like we were in a 4* or lower room. The lifts - part of the success of the hotel is its rooftop and higher floor restaurants and bars however this makes your hotel into a tourist attraction from 5pm. Hotel residents are ushered to the front of the queue in the lobby but getting off your floor was a 10 minute wait whilst multiple full lifts pass you by. The main hotel breakfast - it isn’t big enough and it is chaotic. Getting seated was a palaver - we were shown to three tables only to be told we couldn’t have them for one reason or another. Mercifully the breakfast in the tower club was much better organised and more serene so we did that after the first day. Floor 51 - this is the flop we were on and a few doors away they have some sort of catering hub so there is constant low level kitchen noise going on and the associated food smells around our room. The hotel lobby smells incredibly so then to get out on your own floor and for it to smell like a canteen is annoying. I doubt any other floor has this issue.

The hotel is very well located, which makes getting around very convenient. The staff is extremely pleasant and attentive. Special mention to Matilda, who was very kind and gave very clear explanations during check-in, making the arrival very smooth and welcoming. The bars are stunning, although they are quite expensive. Overall, an excellent stay that I would definitely recommend.

Excellent service from all the staff. A special mention to the concierge Chris. A wonderful rooftop with two different áreas and music.

Great view of course but too expensive ,touristic and not the best rooftop bar in Bangkok . Really Friendly staff and all is ok but its not worth the prize for a drink or a snack :-)
