Targeted Harassment, Ignored Complaint, and a Property That Doesn't Match the Price

I stayed at lebua at State Tower from January 21 to February 2, 2026 in a Tower Club suite on the 53rd floor. I checked out six days early because of how I was treated by staff. I want to be very specific about what happened. On January 22, I entered the elevator with a staff member and other guests. The staff member greeted and engaged with the other guests while completely ignoring me. During this, another guest questioned why "someone like me" was there. Instead of addressing the comment or acknowledging me, the staff member apologized to that guest. I was treated as if I didn't exist. On January 24 and 25, my tailor came to deliver items. Both times I requested he be sent to my room. The first time, staff kept him waiting in the lobby and questioned me about my room in a confrontational manner. The second time, they dropped him on the 40th floor and left him to walk up thirteen flights of stairs to reach floor 53. My tailor told me directly. On February 1, I was interrupted mid-workout in the gym and asked to prove I was a guest. Other guests were not approached. On multiple occasions at the rooftop bar, I was asked for my room number while other guests were not. I filed a formal written complaint with management documenting every incident, requesting acknowledgment and corrective action, and gave them 48 hours to respond. They never responded. Not a word. No apology, no acknowledgment, no explanation. Complete silence. For a hotel that markets itself as world-class luxury, ignoring a paying guest's formal harassment complaint is telling. Beyond the treatment, the property itself does not justify the price. The room furniture and decor are extremely outdated — this is not the modern luxury experience their marketing suggests. There were visible structural damages throughout the property that were concerning. And the food and drink prices are exorbitant, even by luxury hotel standards. I've stayed at comparable properties around the world and the value here is nowhere close. I eventually had to relocate to another hotel at my own expense. I'll leave readers to draw their own conclusions about why I was consistently singled out while other guests were not.

Style, charm and a side of luxury.

From check in to out everything was perfect. A fine blend of old world charm, exquisite customer service, and stunning views from the iconic dome and Club tower. Check in was bought to us, with a side of refreshing drink and cool towels. Suite not ready, no problem we waited in the Club lounge of 52 nd floor with fantastic views, endless nibbles and full bar service. Jaws dropped when we entered suite 5101, a 2 bed, 2 bath with lounge, kitchenette, luggage room and a 180 deg wraparound balcony providing fabulous view of the City and river sprawling below. Breakfast poolside was a great range of foods and in addition to the obligatory egg chef, lebua go one further with a breakfast meats chef, and a personal toastmaster. A falconry show was included as the falcon scared off the pesky pigeons. Sunset at the Dome was an incredible sight. If you are planning a trip to Bangkok include a night or two at lebua state Tower, you wont be disappointed. Thankyou team lebua for a memorable anniversary experience.

Great location, staff, views and food in the city

Got it — “first impressions” vibe, a bit tighter: --- We’re currently staying at Lebua in Bangkok (with two more nights to go) and wanted to share our first impressions because it’s been great so far. The hotel feels properly upscale but still comfortable and welcoming. The views from up high are incredible, especially at night with the city and river lit up. Our room is spacious, very clean, and a perfect place to recharge after long days out in Bangkok. The bed is comfortable and everything feels well maintained. Service has really stood out already. The staff are friendly, professional, and quick to help with anything. A special thank you to **Smile** at check-in for being so warm and helpful — she made arrival smooth and set the tone for our stay. Breakfast has lots of variety, and coming back to the calm of the hotel after the busy streets outside is something we’re really appreciating. Excited to enjoy the rest of our stay, but so far we’d absolutely recommend Lebua.

Wonderful experience, the room is spacious (we had a suite), the riverside view is stunning and everyone in the hotel was very kind and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, there are also many vegan choices: I had japanese miso soup, thai curry, vegetable dumplings, and a variety of seasonal local fruits. The paestries are delicious too. Thanks to Bo at the reception for being responsive to all our wishes and making our stay memorable. We’d be glad to return any time in the future.
