We had one night in Bangkok on our way home from our honeymoon in Bali and stayed at this beautiful, luxurious hotel who once upgraded us to a suite with a river view and treated us for free breakfast - which may have been the biggest breakfast buffet I have ever seen at a hotel. The suite was spacious and beautiful with an amazing view of Bangkok. The shower had great water pressure and the bed was big and comfortable :) The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We only had one night in Lebud, but we really enjoyed it.

Check in was a disaster Arrived early and was strung along for 5 hours before we were told it will take another 90 minutes for the room to be cleaned which was being cleaned 3 hours ago I offered to pay a penalty to check in but this still did not resonate with the staff When one informs you that the room is vacant you would expect it to be ready within a short time not 3 hours later Check in staff give various answers to the same question and will not commit to a straight forward answer There seems to no connection or team work between various departments to get an answer when the room will be ready In the end had to speak to the duty manager as it would have been easier to check in to another hotel vs sitting around in the lobby after 30 hours of traveling Hotel is simply ok, overrated due to the sky bar Pool side is like club med, over crowded and an Ibiza theme Gym is huge and pretty good Steam room is a plus Rooms are big depending on what you get But the whole hotel reminds me of the an 80's movie where a winged bird man is trapped in a huge building trying to escape Room was dark and dated Furniture is also dated The duty manager deserves an award for really understanding her guests and one should consider replicating her service and skills across the hotel she was the only light of the whole stay Checking out I felt staff still had an attitude but who cares at this point will not be staying anytime soon or ever The whole experience was awful and I doubt it can be improved the best way to lose guests is make the experience like runaway train just snowballs out of control once started Needs lots of staff improvements Bag guy said he has experienced better hotels across Bangkok lol Never Ever Again Rating is a BIG MINUS -

First of all, it takes a LOT of effort to get to the hotel. It is very overwhelming and not too impressive from the outside... As you walk in, you walk past what seems like a ghost town shopping center with empty restaurants. Then, you enter into the lobby of the hotel and it is dark, spooky area, we were so confused! It must have been an unused entertainment venue or something rather, but it just looks extremely bad for guests walking through.... To get to the roof (which is what everyone is there for, the hotel itself seems outdated and creepy), you are escorted to the elevator. We got up quite quickly actually, which I think is lucky. The roof is spectacular. Though, VERY organised and guests are herded around like sheep by the staff. We ordered one drink each, as they were about $25 AUD each. We expected this, but the view was worth it. One of the best views of Bangkok I would say, and I have been back and fourth to Bangkok for the past 13 years. Would not return, but it was worth seeing the one time.

Great hotel with of course the amazing Sky bar. The room was absolutely luxurious and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Great location and not as much traffic as staying in Chinatown. It does not have the charm of a small boutique hotel but has the luxury of an upper end high rise hotel. The food at the restaurant at the pool was amazing- they even surprised my husband with a birthday dessert.

My husband and I stayed at Lebua for 3 nights and really loved the experience. The room was fantastic - the view of the river was epic. We didn't really experience the restaurant or bar because it was packed and a little expensive, but I did hear there is a dress code you need to abide by. The breakfast was delicious! Drinks by the pool were a little pricey, but the pool itself was very nice. Very helpful staff as well. Overall we loved it!
