lebua at State Tower

I stayed in a River View room with the balcony and it was worth every single penny and more. The service from the staff was impeccable throughout my stay. Minnie from the front desk was an example - cheerful, courteous and made sure my stay and checkout was smooth.

Nice hotel we used in the past but getting a little tired when you compare with new hotels in Bangkok. Sky bar gets busy with outsiders and lifts can be a wait. Pool is not in a sunny position and can feel cold. Overall staff attention is good so is breakfast. A little update and arranging rooms, amenities and you could return to past sunny years.

My wife and I stayed in a tower suite with river view for 3 nights prior to returning home. The hotel is iconic and offers excellent service for it's guests. The food and beverage offerings are first class and the Tower Club upgrade is well worth the money as it offers food and beverage throughout the day. The breakfast is by far the most impressive we've experienced and we even complimented the staff during our breakfast as the food and service is exceptional. The pool and sun terrace are great and ideal to cool down on the hot temperatures in Bangkok. We did, however, feel the suite was a little dated and in need of some renovation.
