Great hotel in central Bangkok
Great location by the river and close to pier 13 so we used the regular boat services to get around and enjoyed watching the river traffic from our balcony. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and lots of small details (cold water for the journey to the airport, checking nothing was let in the room while we checked out etc) made our stay special. Enjoyed the complimentary in room massages for booking direct.

Perfect location and spacious rooms
I was a bit underwhelmed due to high expectations I guess coming from the photos online... The room is very good - spacious and clean. I had a room in front - it is at the street side but because of the double glass slide doors there was no noise coming from the street so sleeping in a very comfortable and soft bed was . The location is what makes this a perfect hide-away, next to the pier so you can go and visit all of Bangkok's waterside and also it is located close to bars and restaurants and I found the overall atmosphere of the neighbourhood very warm and welcoming. Sadly the outside area lacks just that - it is not cosy, people and staff constantly walking around so you just don't feel comfortable. I wanted to stay here for the waterside relaxed feeling but it does not have that. The prices of the food and drinks are quite high so better go outside for diner.

Great Hotel
Had a great experience staying 1 night here. Good location, good service-minded staffs, good taste of food at the restaurant. Special thanks for the reservation mgr. for room upgrading. That is very appreciated. I would really recommend Riva Surya Hotel & wish to visit again. 😚😚😚
