Quiet place in bustling city
The location is ideal for exploring all the sites along the Chao Phraya River. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room's spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet provides international and Thai food in high quality.

Excellent service and quality- we gladly return
We had a wonderful stay at Riva Surya Bangkok. The service was truly excellent from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of delicious options to choose from, and the staff were always friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Our room was super clean and felt really comfortable, and the balcony overlooking the Rama V Bridge was an absolute highlight. We loved sitting out there in the evening just taking in the view. A special thank-you to Plaa at the reception, who supported us with exceptional kindness and professionalism throughout our stay. Her help made everything smooth and enjoyable. We also enjoyed a very good massage at the hotel—perfect after long days of exploring the city. We would gladly come back again. Travel dates: 18–21 November 2025

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Riva Surya. It is well situated along the river, had a lovely dining/pool area, and has very friendly staff. Our room was very clean and the view was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Photo is the view from our room at night!

A lovely hotel on the river and Khao San.
Our second stay here, we can reaffirm what a lovely boutique hotel it is - a respite on the river from Bangkok craziness. The pool area is lovely, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Perfectly Located!
We really enjoyed our few nights in Bangkok here. The location is incredible, close to the temples and the Kho San road area. The rooms are really clean and the bed is comfy. I'd for sure stay here again my next time in Bangkok.
