An Oasis of Calm
Lovely location on the river. Great happy hour. In-house restaurant serves tasty meals in a beautiful setting. Very efficient A/C and nice hot shower. Decor is a bit dated, but well maintained. Staff is extremely personable and cannot do enough to assist. Location is a 5-10 minute walk from a lively night market with many bars, restaurants, massage studios and pot shops! The hotel is an oasis of calm compared to its surrounding neighborhood.

Excellent location, lovely atmosphere, professional and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast outside by the pool and overlooking the river. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

Outstanding Stay in Bangkok
Riva Surya Bangkok has the perfect location – just a short walk to Khaosan Road and excellent transport links. Our Urban Room at the front was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful extras like mattress toppers, dressing gowns, snacks, and toiletries. The pool area is gorgeous, with comfy sun loungers and a stunning river view. Breakfast was by far the best we had in Thailand – delicious and beautifully presented. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Piaow and the team at the front entrance went above and beyond to make our stay effortless and welcoming. Highly recommended – great location, fantastic rooms, and exceptional service!

Comfortable must stay in Bangkok
My family and I had the chance to enjoy Bangkok while staying at Riva Surya. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The amenities at the hotel like the pool was very relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed the location of the hotel as it was convenient to walk to key destinations such as the Grand Palace and Wat Phra. Besides the comfortable stay, the hotel staff made the experience even better. Each staff was so kind and welcoming. We appreciated Ton, Non, Piaow and all the other staff who we didn’t get a chance to get their names.
