Highly Recommended Boutique Hotel on the River
We had a truly wonderful three-day stay at Riva. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a boutique atmosphere that feels warm and personal. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. Our room was comfortable, the bed was fantastic, and everything we needed was right there. The breakfast was delicious – especially the freshly made omelets and the variety of other tasty options. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening, which was just as enjoyable. The swimming pool was a great bonus, and the location right by the river made the experience even more special. Because the hotel is not too big, it has a really pleasant and intimate atmosphere – exactly what we were hoping for. All in all, a perfect stay. Highly recommended!

Great location and amazing service
We arrived at the hotel early in the morning, and after a busy, hectic traffic to get there, it was really nice to be welcomed by the receptionist with a smile and tea. The hotel even organised an early check-in, which was great to stretch our bodies after the 9-hour flight. In the room, the floor-to-ceiling windows gave us a full view of the Chao Phraya River and two big bridges. It was beautiful, especially at night. The location was also great. It was a few minutes walk to Khaosan Road, but not too noisy. The pier for the hop-on hop-off ferry was around 5 mins walk, it was very convenient. There were nice cafes, restaurants and bars with live music, just across the road from the hotel. We could use the pool area (shower, bar, and deckchairs) until our late-night flight. It was very helpful. We will definitely come back when we visit Bangkok.

The location was excellent only a three minute walk to the hop on hop off boat. So very easy to visit some of Bangkoks best “must sees”The pool was lovely and excellent breakfast.
