Visited for a quick stay and Witt, at the front desk, helped coordinate our friends so that our rooms were nearby. He and the entire front desk staff helped us with anything we needed from restaurant advise, to the nearby attractions, even helping us translate and speak some terms with them! I had an excellent club sandwich as well as many refreshing watermelon shakes and frosty Changs at the restaurant that was situated alongside the river. Our group enjoyed how close we were to the Grand Palace area(10ish min tuk-tuk ride) as well as the walking street full of restaurants and vendors that leads to Khao San Road. Room was comfortable after a 27 hour day of flying and we'd definitely stay here again. Thank Again Witt!

From the moment we arrived, Riva Surya went above and beyond all of our expectations!! Wit was the first person we met and he made sure that we got comfortably settled in and that we were well-informed on the hotel and the city of Bangkok. The staff was super friendly and professional and always at the ready to assist any one of our needs/wants...we're a family of 5 (kids ranging in age from 10 to 17) and they knew each of our kids by name and had a great rapport with each of them...We stayed 4 nights (we had 2 rooms) and I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel - it's walking distance to Khoa San Road and the river boats/cruises. If you're up for it (and the heat/humidity isn't too high) you can take a slightly longer walk to temples and Grand Palace. Location is great! Pool is great! Rooms are great! Food is great! Drinks are great! Staff is great!

Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Great service with professionnal and helpfull staff. Breakfast by the pool was very nice. The pool will be very appreciated after a day visiting Bangkok! Food at the hotel is good but bars and restaurants around are more for backpackers. Perfect location to visit the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, etc.

Location is great to browse local backpacker market and restaurants. Near public pier on the river. Hotel is classy and small. One word of advice: the rooms on the street side can be noisy at night due to nearby club music. Ask for a room on the river side, or if not available, as high as possible. The river can also be quite noisy (long tail boats are very noisy), but the view is nice. River view rooms are more expensive.
