Tower Club at lebua

We booked a club room with river view for two nights, on arrival the hotel is stunning, huge fresh flower displays arranged daily in the lobby, very classy decor and lovely staff. We were shown to our 56th floor room by a lovely young girl who said she was in training, I can't remember her name unfortunately but I think it was Ao Soom? Our room was great, huge bathroom, large comfy bed and the most amazing view. Our room rate included access to the lounge for drinks and food 6am-6pm which was great but we only used once as we were out exploring Bangkok most of the day. The famous Sky Bar from the Hangover movie was impressive, but the prices both here and in the Pink Bar(equally beautiful views but far less busy)are just insane, we had two cocktails at the Sky Bar and these came to around £75? & the Pink Bar another two cocktails which came to £95 with the service charge, just crazy prices but I wonder if this is how they recoup the money from guests eating and drinking on the Club lounge room rate? The hotel is in a great location, so many great bars and restaurants nearby, can recommend Bang Rak food market just 5-10 min walk from the hotel, eg £2 for the delicious street food stall just outside, or there's also the indoor food market. Recommend the public boat which for pennies will take you up and down the Chaophraya River, stopping at several landmarks and temples so you can hop on and off, far easier than taxis. We made the mistake of getting a tuk tuk to Chinatown, never again, they are a law unto themselves and weave in and out of traffic at high speed. Chinatown was hectic as expected, but well worth a visit for the atmosphere and food. Jack's Bar near the hotel is great, watching the party boats up up and down the river was fun. We also enjoyed Uncle Harry's bar just next to Jack's. At night housekeeping delivered small chocolates and a card with the weather report for the following day which was a nice touch. The pool area was ok, no real views compared to the views from our room, and again about £12 for one bottle of beer so we only used the pool once. For a 5 Star, we were disappointed that there was no Smart TV in the room so we could watch Netflix etc, also no furniture on the balcony, a small table and chairs would be good to be able to enjoy the views. Overall we loved the hotel and would stay again!

This was our second stay at Labua State Towers in three weeks. We started our family vacation at Labua for three nights. We returned before flying home for two nights. We highly recommend staying here without equivocation. Every experience we had was superb from the amazing breakfast buffet included in the very reasonable price per night for a 5 star hotel to the cleanliness of our rooms to the kindness, courtesy and unyielding respect with which all guests are treated. I am especially proud to stay at the only hotel in Bangkok that did not fire their staff during the covid economic downturn. All staff at Labua are treated with kindness & courtesy. The evidence of their happiness is reflected in their interactions with guests. I want to note first: Mr. Knochy, Assistant Front Manager as making us feel extraordinarily welcome particularly on our second visit. Ms. Ni (Front Office Supervisor) and Ms. Eak (Duty Manager) also deserve special mention. If you want to experience the luxury of a NYC 5 star hotel at the relatively inexpensive Bangkok prices…stay at Labua State Tower. Backpackers are as welcome here as millionaires and all are treated alike. Labua means lotus in Thai. It’s an appropriate name. Both are beautiful. Both are unique. Both symbolize Thailand at its best. We plan to return to stay here again in 2027. If we see you, we’ll greet you as friends because you will become part of Labua’s family with a home away from home.

Very good and warm welcome by the staff, they are helpful and try to make you feel right at home. My special thanks to Lady, who did our check in and showed us around. ☺️ We will visit again for sure.

Saiparn was very helpful. Great young lady. She helped us alot. After out very long drive from Korea chang. The hotel lobby is beautiful.
