Tower Club at lebua in Bangkok, Thailand
Tower Club at lebua rises high above the colorful chaos and sensory overload of downtown Bangkok – it’s the city’s second-tallest building – and offers world-class accommodations in an unbeatable location. Sample delectable street-cart fare and immerse in local markets, then retreat to your sleek, minimalist suite 50 stories into the sky. The Tower Club’s centralized address right on the SkyTrain means Bangkok’s cultural attractions are all close by, but stay close come nightfall: There’s nowhere more glamorous to sip a martini than the SkyBar, called the “most stunning rooftop bar you’ll ever see” by The New York Times.
Start the day with fresh croissants baked by The Tower Club’s French pastry chef. Take a riverboat from Sathorn Pier to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace, a collection of colorful, gold-spired temples that date from 1782. Return to the hotel for afternoon tea or a glass of champagne and fresh strawberries on ice with crŤme Chantilly. Dive into a Mediterranean tasting menu at Sirocco as the lights of Bangkok cut through the dusk.

Reviews for Tower Club at lebua
We have stayed at the Tower Club at Lebua on a couple of occasions now, just for one night at a time. Have always chosen it simply for a couple of set reasons: 1) Balcony Views from Room - Stunning on every side of the hotel. On a clear day you can see for miles. It is a great feeling lying in bed on an evening or morning with the doors/curtains open looking out over this crazy, huge metropolis. 2) Great Value - normally tower club rooms can be picked up for a really (by UK standards) reasonable rate - bearing in mind the size of the rooms, the amenities offered all day at the Tower Club (in Breeze restaurant) until 6pm. Free flowing drinks, and canapés/snacks. Plus the photo opportunities out on the breeze restaurant balcony. It is a rather strange building with a strange history however and can actually be a bit eerie - from the derelict floors visible from some rooms, to the near abandoned shopping mall downstairs. One can see that the development has had a troubled past - see it's sister tower the Sathorn Unique for more of an insight....! Breakfast is a very large and comprehensive affair, however it can get noisy and chaotic at times, and tables near the pool are hard to get. The swimming pool is certainly not even close to one of the best in Bangkok - with it having no view whatsoever and being shaded for 90% of the day by the tower itself. It can feel claustrophobic and a bit dull. Again, ramshackle un-occupied sections of the building can be seen from here, taking away any luxury feel. Drinks prices around the pool are therefore incomprehensibly expensive considering! The gym and changing facilities are pretty good, and the staff within them very friendly. The hotel normally allows guests to use these facilities after checking out for people with late night flights, transfers etc. which is a big bonus. They will also therefore store bags in the same manner, with the front desk and bell staff being very friendly and helpful. On site dining is all very expensive by Bangkok standards, even by international capital city standards, however most restaurants/bars in the building are all about that amazing view. By all accounts the cuisine is also very good. The biggest bug-bear however comes at night time where the building becomes awash with tourists coming to visit the rooftop skybar, partly owing to it's appearance in the Hangover 2 movie. This is where as a guest, you feel a bit put out having long waits for elevators, and being crammed in with often very drunk, rude characters, a lot of which visit the bar and don't seem to even make a drink purchase. Perhaps this could benefit with a minimum spend and pre-booking for people not staying at the hotel. The atmosphere on the roof was akin to Koh San road on one visit, probably featuring many of the same people, slightly smarter dressed for their one off photo opportunity. I feel this really needs to be addressed if this hotel wants to go for a luxury market and pricing to match - or sell out and become a run-down tourist attraction. I for one would not have been happy dropping £300 upwards on dinner that evening with the language, demeanour and drunkenness going on around me. Needless to say we had one drink (£20 each) then went back to the room and had drinks on our balcony! All in all it is worth a visit, but do not expect high end luxury, however do expect high end price tags for food and drinks throughout. Would I stay again? Probably, but I wouldn't bother with the Sky Bar or Sirocco until they address what is becoming an off-putting problem that could be easily addressed.

Club-room at lebua is wonderful. Great view, and a Nice lounge where you can eat and drink. The skybar is really overprised, but a Nice experience. And the breakfast is really good, so much to choose among. Locatioan is ok, 10 minutes walk to the skytrain.

We chose this hotel based on the TA reviews. In this case TA really let me down...  I don't know who the people are that give this hotel rave reviews... perhaps the demographic that is typically attracted to this hotel are not people who have actually experienced a real 5 star hotel. The tower club at Lebua is more like a 3 star property. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the view and the breakfast buffet. The view from the balcony is incredible. The breakfast buffet at the pool is  nice and very extensive. The food quality was mediocre... but if you are not super picky you will enjoy the huge selection. They offer something for everyone. Otherwise, the hotel is LONG overdue for a renovation. It is DATED AND WORN OUT. The rooms are dated, furniture looked like it was from the 90's. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. We had a water leak in our ceiling . it looked like it had been an ongoing issue as the wood floor showed some evidence of water damage ( they did send a repair person who fixed it promptly, although the fix was temporary as it began to leak again a day later) .  The common areas/ hallways are unpleasant ,  the carpet stained. The " lounge" that offers the afternoon hors d'oeuvre and drinks was AWFUL ...  The hotel staff reminded us numerous times that they have a dress code for visiting the lounge .. but we found people were dressed in an odd array of athletic wear , T-shirts and tennis shoes. The room was dark and dingy and the food was REALLY bad. Based on this, we decided not to try their roof top restaurant. We went to a different hotel sky bar for dinner ( it was super good) . I would definitely not stay here again. It was NOT a good value.  There are many other hotels in Bangkok that are much nicer , have a view for the same price.  One note, the staff & service was good.

Extreme value for money. We payed for double room - and were upgraded to a luxury presidential suite when checking-in due to one of us having our honeymoon. Hotel is insane, location is great, amazing city view from the room and the restaurants, food was delicious, staff very friendly, everything perfect. Definitely 5 star hotel.

We stayed at Tower Club at Lebua for the beginning of our 2 week trip to Thailand and we were completely over the moon with the service we received. First off the staff are absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful, on several occasions they were able to point us in the right direction i.e. how much a taxi should cost to somewhere / the best activities to do. Special mention to Sprite, he was a top man. Next off was the huge rooms! We opted for the City view and day and night the view was superb, amazing to wake up to every day. The rooms were humongous with a lounge area, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The complimentary minibar was an added bonus and as someone who doesn't cope well with heat, the air conditioning worked a charm. The location of the hotel is great, just a five minute walk away from the ferry port and sky train and the awesome Asiatique market is just a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride away. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tower Club at Lebua and would have no hesitations in going back.
