We loved our stay at Little Good Harbour. It was everything that I was expecting and more. I particularly love the location. Just a 5 minute ride from Speightstown with a handful of restaurants and if you don't want to go out you have a fabulous restaurant right on your door step. We had a one bedroom cottage and it had everything that we needed for our stay. Prior to our arrival I emailed the hotel and asked if they could organise a few basic groceries for our arrival, which they were happy to do. Having a large fridge was a bonus for wine, beers and cold drinks. We had a lovely veranda where we would sit in the early mornings and early evenings watching all the lovely birds and wildlife. The grounds are not large but they are beautifully stocked with lovely colourful plants and shrubs and tended to on a daily basis by a lovely guy who was always happy to have a chat. There are two pools and our favourite was the spa pool. Quite often we were the only ones there. Most days there was an honesty bar in the shape of a large cool box with a variety of drinks. We saw monkeys playing around in one of the trees there early one morning which was a highlight for me. The Fish Pot restaurant is just across the road. We used this quite a bit and all meals we had were lovely, along with the staff. They have various decking areas with comfy seating where we would sit and have morning coffee. This is also where the beach is. Unfortunately on our second day the height of the sand on the beach was reduced by the tide so for the remainder of our break we didn't use the beach to sit on. I must add this is an act of nature and was told that the tides will bring the sand back. It didn't affect our stay at all as we were happy to pop into Speightstown and lounge on their beach if we felt the need. The restaurants/beach bars there have complimentary beds and umbrellas if eating/drinking with them. You could access the beach for a swim and the snorkelling here was really good especially considering you were only approx 20 feet away from the shore; which for a novice snorkeler like myself suited me perfectly. We didn't hire a car this visit and relied on the local buses and taxis. A car is useful if you want to explore but for us this visit was to relax and take it easy. The buses varied from white ZR vans and yellow and blue buses. The white ZR vans were generally full when they pull up but somehow they managed to squeeze us in (I would add that these are not for everyone!). We tended to use the bus in the day and took the taxi in the evening. We would take early morning walks either along the beach or along the road. The pavements in Barbados are almost non existent but most cars beep to let you know they are coming. All of the staff are a real asset to this hotel. Everyone we met was friendly, helpful and very efficient. Thank you to all of you. I would also like to say thank you to the owner who gave us a lift to Port St Charles. He said that as it was a bank holiday we may have to wait a while for the bus!

We stayed here for a weeks holiday to get away from it all with our two teenage girls. My husband wanted a place to sit and watch the world go by and the staff at Little Good Harbour gave us just that. Wonderful beach with great snorkelling, brilliant restaurant as always with great staff. nothing was too much trouble. Far away from busier Holetown to just chill out but near enough to join I when you want something a bit livelier. Would definitely recommend Captain Dwayne for boat trips. friendly service and very welcoming.

We stayed for 3 days at the hotel prior to a Caribbean cruise. We were looking for a beachside hotel with some peace & quiet - and found this in abundance! We were in a one bedroom villa with kitchen / sitting room below. It was luxurious, clean comfortable with wonderful views in a quiet location on the north west side of the island. The staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay a real pleasure. We ate in the FishPot restaurant (just over the road) on the first night, and the food was SO good, we went back every night. The beach was quiet with sun loungers for us to use, and the hotel had two small pools which were also quiet, clean and welcoming. In short, a wonderful stay at a great little quiet hotel. Would not hesitate to come back!

We originally planned on staying here for one night and the sister hotel, Atlantis for two. Due to a circumstance we were stuck on the island for longer then anticipated. We ended up staying at Little Good Harbour for 3 nights. Andrew and his team were lovely, they will help you with anything you need. This is not a full service hotel, but more of a serviced apt. Their restaurant is great and you have the option of your own kitchen if you are staying longer. Sunsets here on the deck are incredible and we had it to ourselves! Swimming is lovely and again we were the only ones in the water.

We stayed here on our second week of our honeymoon and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is made up of well equipped and comfortable self catering cottages. Each cottage has a beautiful furnished verandah, perfect for a pre dinner drink. We stayed in a one bedroom cottage which comprised of a comfortable living room (excellent sofa!) and a fully equipped open plan kitchen. Upstairs we had a large bedroom with air con and a spacious shower room - no air con. The furnishings were bright, stylish and being in Barbados, shutters aplenty! The hotel has two small but lovely swimming pools which we had quite often all to ourselves. The white sandy beach is just across the road. There is also a spa (didn't use). We ate in the hotel's restaurant, The Fish Pot most evenings. The food was delicious and the service second to none! The hotel doesn't have a bar as such so order a pre dinner cocktail at the Fish Pot. The hotel is to the north of the island on the west coast and away from the hustle and bustle of the usual tourist places. Barbados is not huge, so hire a car and explore everything the island has got to offer.
