Claris Hotel

Bad would not recommend. The rooms were small and and only had 1 plug outlet in it and when we complained and asked to move hotels, they offered to move us to a better room free of charge ( and the upgraded rooms were also bad quality but at that point the hotel was fighting for us to stay so we just stayed) only to find out that when we were leaving they want us to pay for the upgrade even though they said from their own mouths that the upgraded room was free of charge. Basically robbery because if that was the case from the beginning then we would’ve went to a better hotel that actually was 5 star quality and we were supposed to catch a flight and they made us very late for it. They even tried to call the cops on us for their mistake. My family and I travel a lot and this is the only hotel we’ve ever complained about. It was so bad it basically ruined our Spain experience.

The claris barcelona is 5 star and we stayed my friends and i last year with executive rooms very nice we upgraded this year and got ordinary rooms, shame plus arrival of 3pm is great as check in time but the receptionist waved ten pieces of paper at me and said rooms are not ready loads of people waiting, not good 4.30pm i complained and they quickly gave us ordinary rooms to make us quiet i am sure, disappointing remember 5 star. so we took them so we could enjoy our stay and go out room cleaning is good when they get to your room sometimes 10 am sometimes 3.30 pm! we received a bottle of cava in each room to say sorry for slow start but to be honest i paid £1700 for 5 nights solo , i could have got a lovely room in a 4 star!. the other interesting fact is the sun comes out at 8 am onwards shing down but no one can go out to sunbathe untill 11am then its kill or be killed for the 10 beds only at the pool the service on the roof from the staff varies from ok to rude and slow barcelona has many nice hotels its a shame this well placed nice hotel is not a bit more 5 star to be honest its a 4 star normal hotel......

The stay was absolutely perfect! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hotel is well located, stunning, and the staff were incredibly lovely and welcoming. A special and big thank you to Eric, who welcomed us so warmly and was always there to help us. One of, if not the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I work for a travel agency, so I’m in contact with hotels all the time, and this experience truly stood out. Thank you so much for your hospitality, kind attention, smiles, and for making our stay so comfortable. The room was spotless, beautiful, and extremely comfortable. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel! ❤️

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful pool and rooftop bar restaurant. Delicious cocktails, and food. Wonderful location great for walking very close to the Sagrada Familia and other points of interest. Staff was fabulous, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Outstanding experience. The hotel staff is wonderful. Could not recommend more highly.
