Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona

I was lucky to return to my favorite hotel in Barcelona also known as the Hilton Diagonal Mar. As always we were welcomed with a smile, and the check in was smooth and efficient. Fortunately our rooms were ready, so we went upstairs by elevator and the luggage was quickly brought to the rooms. The executive rooms appear fresh and accommodating after refurbishment. The beautiful executive lounge was previously located at the 15th floor with an amazing seaview. Now it's temporarily located at the 1st floor adjacent to the restaurant, and it works. The bar is relocated to the 15th floor with a new concept of interior and decorations. We enjoyed a few drinks served by our well known barman David. He's keeping up appearances for the bar and himself. There's an ongoing comprehensive transformation of the hotel "The Metamorphosis". The teammembers were well informed and proud of the ongoing change. We will have to come back to experience "The Metamorphosis" in about two years. The teammembers, supervisors and managers obviously are experinced and willing to go the extra mile to accomodate guests providing good service. Thank you for another amazing stay in your excellent hotel!

We had a wonderful stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was a short but memorable getaway with my husband and our son. The executive lounge was fantastic, offering a great selection of drinks and delicious food. Our room was spotless and beautifully appointed, with a stunning sea view that made our stay even more special. We truly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Nothing to write home about. The hotel feels old and partly neglected. The room carpet had visible stains. The bathroom was outdated and run-down. Some furniture was damaged and worn. The heating was insufficient and the room felt cold. There were unpleasant smells in some areas of the hotel. The so-called “sea view” is not a real sea view — you mainly look at other high-rise buildings. Overall very mediocre and not recommendable.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They didn’t miss a beat for our 3 day stay with our adult son and his family in another room. Rooms were lovely, overlooking the sea. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had, and I travel quite a bit. The Hilton Honors reception was also one of the nicest I have experienced, again, excellent staff and just the perfect amount of snacks and selection of drinks. This hotel is walking distance from the beach and close to downtown area. Great place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Diagonal Mar and felt truly well taken care of from beginning to end. Lucrezia looked after us throughout our entire stay, always checking in and making sure we were comfortable and happy. Her attentiveness and genuine care made a real difference for us. At breakfast, Maria especially stood out with her constant smile, positive energy, and great mood — she brightened our mornings and made breakfast a joy every day. It is exactly people like Lucrezia and Maria who turn a good stay into a great one. They create those small but meaningful moments that truly stay with you. Thanks to them and the entire team, we felt incredibly welcome and would love to come back again.
