The following episode perfectly describes the fantastic service-level at this hotel. My wife and I were traveling with a 2 year old daughter, planning to have her sleep between us and expecting a king-size bed. Unfortunately the room had two adjoining double beds. We planned to make the best of it but around bedtime we realized it would be tough. We called the reception, not really expecting a solution in a fully booked hotel, but they immediately sent up a gentleman with a wide top-mattress and 10 minutes later we were looking at a fully made-up king-size bed. AMAZING! Plus the location is unbeatable.

For me and my friends this is our fourth year in a row staying in this hotel, and every time we come back we get a better experience than the year before. From the time we arrived at the hotel the staff as always welcomed us with warm greetings, and they make us feel at home. Our rooms are spacious and comfortable. Everything is perfectly done, and it shows that the hotel take pride to keep it high standards. One of the best thing about the hotel is its great location. The staff what make this place special. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also we want to thank Ms. Susana Onos, who give us her personal attention to make our stay wonderful and pleasant. After mentioning that, It’s no surprise that me and my buddies keep coming back year after year. The hotel is truly feel like our home. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to come to Barcelona.

Majestic, where do I start? I checked in on the 16th Oct for 3 nights. Upon check-in, I found the reservations assistant to be less welcoming and helpful than expected. We were assigned to room 128, which is located near the breakfast room doors (noisy). Unfortunately, during the check-in process, I was charged an incorrect amount for my stay. I have reached out to the @info email address regarding the discrepancy and am still awaiting a response. Additionally, our stay was impacted by intermittent light showers, which prevented us from enjoying the rooftop bar. We decided to try the ground floor bar instead, but we experienced no one coming to take our order before having to prompt servers. To complicate matters, I ordered an appletini but received an aperoltini instead. Today upon check-out, I realised I had been overcharged and spoke to the same individual who checked me in. Unfortunately, he was dismissive and stated that he deals with Arab, English, and European customers doesn’t know currency conversion for everyone or cannot tell me if I have or haven’t been over charged. I said I’d email to discus the discrepancy he said “I can email who I like about it”. This interaction felt rather dismissive. After leaving the hotel, we discovered that we had left some jewelry in our room. I called to inquire if it had been found and was advised to email the @info address that nothing had been found. I mentioned that I had already emailed regarding another issue and had not yet received a reply. I did let them know my partner would be coming to the hotel to check. Fortunately, my partner returned to the hotel and was met with dismissive attitude, that they hadn’t been informed that she would be coming or anything was lost, that the room was cleaned & someone else was already staying in the room. Kept repeating “I’m sorry there is nothing we can do”! After some insistence from my partner, Is transpired no one was in the room & she was allowed to check the room. The supervisor eventually discovered our jewelry in the safe. While the staff were surprised by this discovery, there was no apology for the initial lack of customer service. Due to these experiences, we decided to extend our stay in Barcelona but chose another hotel because of the unsatisfactory customer service and staff attitudes. The only positive interactions we had were with the doorman, who was consistently helpful and friendly. I believe that customer service retraining would greatly benefit your staff, as it appears there is room for improvement in this area.

Our waiter Dani was incredible and very professional. He really looked after myself and my boyfriend when we came for breakfast. So helpful and very friendly. We will definitely be coming back thanks to the amazing service.
