Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona

A breakfast experience that stayed with us We visited the Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona for breakfast on 26 August, and although this review comes a little later than intended, the experience has remained so positively in our minds that it absolutely deserves to be shared. From the moment we arrived, everything felt exceptionally well considered. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive range of high-quality products, beautifully presented and constantly inviting. From excellent charcuterie, fresh fruit, pastries, breads, preserves and yoghurts to juices and lighter options, the choice was extensive without ever feeling excessive or impersonal. What elevated the experience even further was the cooking station and freshly prepared breakfast menu. The possibility to order dishes such as Eggs Benedict and other made-to-order options added another level of quality and individuality to an already outstanding buffet. The food we tried was consistently excellent, both in taste and presentation. The value for money was also remarkably good considering the quality, variety, setting and overall level of service. Everything felt coherent and properly executed — exactly what one hopes for from a hotel of this calibre. The service, however, is what made the morning truly memorable. The entire team was warm, professional and attentive, and the atmosphere never felt formal or distant. Dani and Álvaro deserve a very special mention. Both stood out for their genuine hospitality, attentiveness and natural friendliness. They managed to be present whenever needed without ever being intrusive, and they made us feel sincerely welcome throughout the entire breakfast. Excellent food can make a breakfast very good. Excellent food combined with a wonderful team can make it memorable. That is exactly what happened here. A heartfelt thank-you to the entire breakfast team — and especially to Dani and Álvaro. You both made an already exceptional breakfast even more special. We would return without hesitation. 5 out of 5 — and one of our most memorable breakfast experiences in Barcelona.

Locate right in the middle of everything. Super friendly staff. There was an error on room assignment at first, but the manager made things right upgrading us to a nice room. Rooftop views are incredible. A very pleasant stay!

Be careful which room you are allocated….some are very dark. I had to work in the bar area as the lights in the room did not even help. I did advise reception and they agreed with me……strange. Apart from that a good location, nice outlets and spa.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent, from the beautiful location and atmosphere to the comfort and quality of the rooms. A special thank you to the entire team for their kindness, professionalism and excellent service. Everyone was welcoming, attentive and always ready to help. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and felt very well taken care of throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back again.

Beautiful, luxurious and incredible hotel in the most desirable historical location. Professional and thoughtful team made our stay blissful. Promptly reserved our personal travel issue.
