Overrated
It pains me to write this review, as my wife and I were genuinely excited to stay here. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations, and we do not believe this hotel merits a five-star rating. Our room felt very dated, and the rug appeared unclean. Housekeeping was disappointing—we had to repeatedly request that our room be cleaned. Service at the rooftop bar was slow and inattentive, which further impacted our experience. The only reason I am giving this hotel two stars is its exceptional location. At this price point, however, I would recommend exploring other options. It’s clear this property has a long way to go to live up to its reputation. Friends who stayed here five years ago spoke very highly of it, which made this experience all the more disappointing.

Good experience
We stayed at The Magistic Hotel as part of our cruise extension, the rooms are nice but tired, the location of hotel was fantastic and the breakfast was excellent with special mention to Judit who was efficient, friendly and went out of her way to assist us.

A 10+ Experience
Our time at the Majestic Hotel was a 10+ experience. First of all, we would like to express our appreciation and gratefulness to Guillermo at the front desk, guest relations. He made our stay! He was warm and welcoming and made us feel special. He would be one of the best reasons for our recommending the Majestic to our friends and family. Secondly, the Majestic Hotel is in a wonderful location to explore Barcelona. It is a beautiful hotel, both the public and private rooms Our room was gorgeous, the bathroom an oasis at the end of a long day with wonderful bathtub soaks. We did not try the buffet breakfast but had room service for breakfast which did not disappoint. The rooftop terrace was delightful in the evenings with delicious food and wonderful ambiance. We did not have the time to use the Spa or pool/wellness services but would next visit. Our thanks to everyone with whom we interacted during our stay, especially Guillermo. We look forward to our next stay!!

Excellent place to stay while in Barcelona.
The hotel is beautiful with its elegant beaux arts style; the staff is very helpful and professional; Dani in the restaurant was exceptional with his service and friendly attitude. An excellent place to stay while in Barcelona.
