A+ luxury decor and amazing location but needs to be audited by luxury credit card travel listing to align with benefits
It’s a luxury hotel that lives up to its name in its trappings but it is not quite at the service level of the Edit list of hotels by Chase Travel. They were very confused by the Edit benefits that we were supposed to get by booking with Chase Travel. I requested late checkout at 4 pm on morning of checkout, and was told it was taken care of at the receptionist desk by two staff members. However upon return, we found the room was locked. We were reissued a key so we can check if our belongings were still in the room (the front desk did not know even though they should have known). When we opened the room we found that our belongings were removed, and furthermore our Chase Edit booking gift/amenity, the wine and chocolate almonds, were taken back by the cleaning staff, rather than collected with our luggage. Also we got charged for our food and snack even though we had 85€ credit as part of our Chase Edit benefit. We were able to get this portion of the folio resolved but there were also unexplained charges of 59.80€, and we were told these were taxes, except when I reviewed my Chase Edit booking it describes taxes were included in the booking. A lot of communication gone wrong in the checkout process as well as confusing charges and lost amenities which unfortunately will need further followup with Chase Travel. The hotel should update their system so that there will be a more seamless way to fulfill benefits offered by luxury travel credit cards.

Wonderful transition back to reality following a cruise. Loved being in a very walkable location to experience Barcelona.

Amazing service
Went to have dinner at the restaurant and had excellent service from Alessandro who helped my family members in wheel chairs. Made our dining experience very enjoyable! Great service! Monica was also a lovely waiter who took care of us. A beautiful place to have a meal with beautiful staff!

Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona - a beautiful property and an excellent customer experience …superb location, flawless service delivery, ever cheerful, courteous and friendly employees …nice menus backed by an amazing kitchen, a property designed to make you feel like a “home away from home” …highly recommended!
