Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona

This hotel is ideally located in Barcelona, in a neighborhood chock full of high-end retail stores, and a few steps away from several Gaudi-designed houses that tourists are going to want to check out. Speaking of Gaudi, The Majestic has a trendy rooftop bar with a great view of Sagrada Familia, which is within walking distance if you are ready for some exercise. The hotel itself has a posh feel, from it's lobby bar, restaurant, hallways, and of course the rooms. We had a junior suite room, and we were very happy with it: good size, a modern, marble-floored bathroom, comfortable bed, nicely appointed, and tastefully decorated. The staff, particularly the doormen, maids, and the concierge were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that when we sat in the lobby lounge waiting for our Uber, we were discouraged from bringing in any food or drink that the lobby bar did not provide.

My wife and I stayed at Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona this week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For us, it was the perfect choice for a luxury stay in the heart of the city. We did experience a delay with our room being ready when we arrived after the official check-in time. However, the Front Office team handled the situation extremely professionally and swiftly, immediately taking ownership and ensuring that we were well looked after while the room was being prepared. Their response and service recovery were excellent and resolved the matter entirely to my satisfaction. What really stood out throughout our stay was the quality of the hotel team. From the doormen and porters to Reception, Guest Relations and the F&B teams at La Dolce Vitae rooftop and the breakfast restaurant, the service was consistently warm, attentive and professional. There is a genuine sense of hospitality across the hotel, and the team clearly knows how to connect with their guests. The location is also excellent, right on Passeig de Gràcia in the L’Eixample area, making it an ideal base from which to enjoy Barcelona. We had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona to anyone looking for a quality luxury hotel in an excellent central location. Excellent food with an even better service. I fully recommend the chicken canelloni, an absolute highlight. Thanks to Martina, Natalia and Miguel for taking care of making our experience so enjoyable. Will come back!
