Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona

Today, August 7, is my birthday and as I start my day, I reminisce about my recent stay at Hotel Majetic. There is a saying, turn lemons into lemonade. The outstanding Guest Experience team along with their fellow collegues did just that. After disembarkation, my husband and I were met by the Hotel Majestic driver who transferred us to the hotel. My husband and I were both in wheelchairs, however my husband was somewhat non-responsive and could not walk. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by Marcelo from the guest experience team. He made me feel so special though I was very anxious regarding my husband's condition. I asked Marcelo if it was possible to have a doctor see a doctor. As we were escorted to our room, he said "just let us know". Because my husband continued to be sleepy and lethargic, I called Marcelo who brought the doctor to our room. The doctor advised that my husband be transferred by ambulance to hospital emergency. Susana Onos, Director of Guest Experience, and her team continued what I call "exceptional care" after my husband was taken to hospital emergency and then hospital admission. My husband was hospitalized five days with pneumoniai. I never felt alone because I knew I was a part of the hotel's family. This is a side story. At night, I was so exhausted from going to and from the hospital. My disorganized suitcases were on the floor with piled up clothes. I was living out of my suitcases. That night, when I returned to my room, my clothes had been neatly put into my suitcases, closed and arranged against the wall. If I continued to write about the care I received from the hotel, this review would never end. But I will mention the time Susana brought gelato (our favorite) to the hospital for us. I will mention the time I returned to my room and gelato was brought to me. I will mention that my favorite chocolate covered almonds were on the table. This candy is only sold at 1 or 2 Barcelona stores. I will mention the same carrot cake presented to my husband and I when my husband celebrated his birthday and we celebrated our 53 wedding anniversary in 2024. The executive chef made another one for me. Our accommodations were exceptional. In fact, we returned to our same 2024 room. Ask for suite 900. Also enjoy their breakfast! It is massive and fabulous 👌! I end with my lemonade. The lemonade made by Susana, Marcelo, Chelsea, Karim and all of the Hotel Majestic Team. Thank you for your exceptional care and guest experience.

Mrs. Angelea is an excellent waiter who is always friendly, attentive, and professional. She greets every guest with a warm smile, provides prompt service, and makes customers feel welcome and valued. Her positive attitude, teamwork, and dedication to delivering great service make her a valuable member of the team. She consistently goes the extra mile to ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Beautiful first class hotel. Staff very engaging and helpfull, rooms what you’d expect. Our luggage was lost for 4 hours until I went and identified it in the storage room. Otherwise stay was just fine. Restaurant temporarily closed but breakfast quite good. We will return.

We stayed in a lovely two bedroom apartment at the Majestic residences. Although there was a maintenance issue in the first apartment they moved us next door. They were very apologetic and extremely helpful. Great customer service. Additionally Clay the manager of the concierge went way above and beyond to help us with the very complicated issue of sending a package to the US. We could never have done this without him. So grateful for his and all of the staff's wonderful service. We will return.

Everything is excellent in the breakfast. I was in the different hotels and this is the top notch service. Dani the manager and the rest of team with an excellent service. The smile of every hostess Sharon and Elena in the morning give light, warmth and makes your day better as soon as you walk in. The best hotel and excellent service.
