It's not as great as the reviews make it out. Half the staff are wonderful, half are annoyed to deal with people. My room was a sauna with no ability to open the window or cool it down. Having a tub in your living space is not as wonderful as you'd think. I'm sure it's a great place in the summer — but for winter/fall, expect it to be hot, to have no air moving, and to sleep as if you're in a sauna (badly and wake up with headaches). The price doesn't reflect the value at all. Pick a different hotel.

Amazing hotel in a fantastic location. Not directly on La Ramblas but also only a short walk away. The hotel really is 5*. All staff friendly and polite. We had B&B. Good choice of breakfast but minimal hot food. You do however, have a choice from a menu of pancakes, omelette and they do poached eggs on request which were delicious. There is a rooftop terrace which we used on two afternoons 1 because we arrived mid afternoon and the second because it was so hot and we literally had walked our legs off!! So just needed a dip in the pool. Bar prices are a bit steep but you would expect this at a 5* hotel. Little touches like low lighting, gentle music and chocolates on the pillows when we returned in the evening were good. I received an email prior to the holiday with a pillow menu, bed linen menu and room scent menu. Would definitely recommend the hotel and hope to return.

Boutique restaurant in centre of Barcelona and convenient for railway and bus stations. We were there for the Grand Prix and having been out all day racing it was nice to get back to some solitude. Also swim in rooftop infinity pool. Breakfast was superb and we didn’t stay for dinner as there are so many tapas restaurants nearby. We had 3 nights for the GP and costs were competitive at €500 per night

Gorgeous stay, roof top pool is lush. Perfect location. And staff went above and beyond for us.
