I stayed here with my husband for our honeymoon and we had the greatest experience! I truly cannot say enough great things about the team here. Everyone went above and beyond to provide us the experience of a lifetime. A special shoutout to Andreina, Fabienne, Igor, Paula, and Andrea. Each of them played such a big role in making this stay so magical and I cannot thank them enough. From surprising us with special honeymoon decorations and a bottle of wine in our room to arranging our transfer from the airport to greeting us so warmly each time we entered the lobby, these people made our stay so wonderful. As for our accommodations, the room was perfect — so spacious and always kept so clean by housekeeping. The included breakfast was OUTSTANDING and it was an unexpected highlight on our trip! We absolutely want to come back one day! Thank you, Ohla Eixample!

Reception experience is just bad for a 5 star hotel. One of us had birthday, which they didn’t notice (they had both passports). We booked through a special deal with early check in, as we arrived around 11am, we have been told that they don’t have early check at all in but always try to get the room ready as soon as possible for every guest. We had to wait until 2 pm. No pro-active service to call us, we had to get back to the reception to ask or wait in the lobby. The room itself looks modern but there are also many issues which shouldn’t occur in a 5 star hotel. As soon as the cleaning staff starts working you won’t be able to sleep anymore. They are so loud (moving inventory or whatever) and walls are thin as paper. The bathroom is another issue. Your roommate will hear everything. Its not possible to go to the restroom at night without to lighten the whole room, since there is only a window between the bathroom and sleeping area. Breakfast is just average, its a small breakfast room, no outside area, no fresh juices, not many fruits, i wouldn’t come here for breakfast - better go to one of the nice breakfast spots in the area and safe the money - you have to get your own coffee from a machine yourself, no service (5 star hotel). The gym is very small, i have seen bigger gyms at 3* hampton inns in the US. They have a nice rooftop pool, however, likely no shades at all, which results in that you wont be able to stay long. Location is great, easy to walk within the city. However, this hotel is maximum 4 stars compared to other hotels in Europe in my opinion.

We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The room was nice, the staff were helpful and attentive, and the pool was nice especially since it was so hot. The location was great too! I would recommend to anyone.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Barcelona. Our room was upgraded. They let us check in early. They could not have been more helpful. The location is the best. The breakfast was amazing. The whole hotel was beautiful and modern. The rooftop pool was fantastic. It was 100 degrees every day and yet the hotel was like a luxurious oasis of cool and calm.

Its a very rare occasion that I am willing to admit that I was impressed by a hotel ,I believe that there is always headroom for improvement but the Ohla is an exception ,a very good one.From our arrival the Concierge was outstanding ,he took our luggage and offered my wife a glass of Cava , he must have done his research on her. Front of house eception were welcoming witty , charming and genuinely proud of their hotel and the city of Barcelona . There was such a positive atmosphere in and around the hotel , all of the staff that we encountered during our one night stay were delightful including our breakfast experience We were immediately offered an upgrade to a suite which was spotless and expansive with a separate WC and separate Shower, a double sink and massive bed , a lounge area with settee , armchair and coffee table ,the lighting was practical and atmospheric the TV was also huge with english language channels. In our opinion this was exceptional value for money . The reception area was spotless and so well presented , the entire hotel was quiet even when busy and I must mention the roof terrace . We decided to have a pre - dinner drink on the rooftop terrace adjacent to the delightful pool , again the staff were attentive polite and helpful , willing to promote their beloved city ,we had to drag ourselves away. We were going on a luxury cruise and I can honestly say that this hotel compared favourably with our experience on Silversea Silver Ray What a beginning ! And thank you to all of the staff who gave us such a good start to a memorable vacation
