It was so bad. First they send us to one place ,and then they say we cant sit there, only at the bar. after we took a chair and go sit at the bar we where told that we couldnt sit at the bar. The whole bar is not organised the whole staff is running around like chickens whitout a head. Dont know whats happening in the place there and in 5 minutes we saw more then 15 people walk away because the staff didnt want to help them. They where arrogant and seems to only pay notice too people who looked rich probs for the one bartender that helped us nice and gave us a drink right away when we ordered at the at the bar there. The other girls really didnt give a f for what u want or what you come do there . Its the most horrible experience we ever had and they really should replace the whole managment they really didnt know what they where doing . They veiw was nice but there it really ends. If you want to have a experience that its horrible and want to feel youre not wanted there you should come here really cause only the "pretend" rich people are wanted here the rest they dont care about . And then still ask 13 euro for a cocktail! Never again

We had a fantastic stay at the W Barcelona. The rooms had amazing views - and you cannot beat the location. My only wish is that I was there over summer - because the pool was very inviting. It definitely brings in a posh and chic crowd which I am all about! Would love to come back to this hotel and I have been recommending it to any of my friends traveling to Spain.

Was here on a business trip. This is a great hotel. After an efficient check in I went to my room. This was a corner suite with a bath tub in the living room. The view is fantastic and the bed, bathroom and amenities were excellent. This was really a great hotel and I had a great stay. There was also a good club on the top floor which I can highly recommend!

After a painfully long welcome at reception at 11am we were advised our room wouldn't be ready until 3pm and we would get a phone call when ready. So we went to beach. Tried a few times to get service but ignored. After 4 hours no phone call so went back to reception where they wanted passport details yet again for security reasons although I explained we had already signed in but were just waiting for a phone call which never came! Went to room. Amazing views. Great bed. But air conditioning not working and windows don't open. Also loo seat was loose. Phoned to report and left room to escape. All sunbeds taken near bar so pretty fed up. Told a manager Daniel how fed up we were and he got on the case straight away. Next days had water leaks from ceiling probably due to air conditioning. Had shower in the wet room bathroom. Not great. Husband had to roll up his trousers to get to the loo to avoid getting wet!!! Key card didn't work and you need that to get up the lift. Asked housekeeping to let me in my room but they said I had to go back to reception!! Couldn't even get back into hotel from beach as card needed to get back in. So annoying and frustrating. Tried to get to the cocktail bar on 26th floor. That was a nightmare too. When we did manage it. It was packed so gave up. This is not a cheap hotel. Ā£350 a night. Really didn't enjoy my stay. A thimble full of cava is 9 euros!!! Food was good but again very expensive. Pity. Had heard good things about it. But never again.

The location is perfect and the views are breathtaking. We booked a Marvelous Suite which is on the corner with gorgeous views in two directions. The suite is very large. The shower area is huge. The staff is exceptionally courteous. If we return to Barcelona, we would not risk staying somewhere else.
