Yes, the place offers spectacular views, super friendly staff, clean rooms but it's very very dated. Our room was extremely loud, hard to sleep at night with the noise. The room safe had errors both days, had to be serviced twice and when we left, it wasn’t working but fortunately we got our valuables and passports out. Pool is extremely old, not clean. Bathroom is large, shower can be steam also, private sauna in bath. I’m sure it was state of the art when built but it’s old and tired now. Grounds needed attention, stairs and railings outside are old and worn. That being said, we had lovely breakfasts and a very nice dinner at Stag.

I stayed at Charming Luxury hotel and spa. It was the most relaxing snd enjoyable stay. The grounds are beautiful. The hotel located on a cliff above beach Playa Bonita. 8 km from Civic center but quite a few restaurants are nearby. Ice and quiet. Excellent food at Stag restaurant. There are houses perched on a cliffThe hotel is unique that some of the suites have private spa. My master suite had jacuzzi, sauna and shower with sensory smells . I got a good rest there. Excellent, attentive staff Alejandra and a gentleman u think his name Daniel.. heated swimming pool around 90 degrees. It's fun that they put each country flag on each house porch! Excellent hotel and highly recommended!

Charming was lovely and very helpful guest services staff! The food was excellent and the location was perfect for exploring this part of Patagonia! We loved our room, the spa features and all of the attention to detail including the gardens.

Amazing view from our room, great service with super friendly staff and an outstanding breakfast (probably the best on the trip). Loved that we got upgraded to a room with a private sauna and steam which was much needed after our hikes. The service was also exceptional since they even managed to get a forgotten bag to Buenos Aires for us. Thanks again so much for a memorable stay. We would definitely come back.

This was our second visit to Charming. We came for a week last year and for eight days this year. What makes Charming different? You can find other beautiful hotels in San Carlos de Bariloche, though it would be hard to beat the meticulously designed room interior, the sauna, the shower that makes you feel like you are outside showering in the mountain rocks. You can certainly get another hotel where the lake and the mountains and the beauty astound you each time you look out your window. But the warmth and caring that Alejandra and Camilla and all the Charming staff give you is another thing. Travel to an unfamiliar country can be overwhelming, but this staff makes sure that your experience is perfection. You can email them as you plan your trip and have questions. You can ask their guidance while you are there. They make you feel you are part of the Charming family. We will be back.
