Montigo Resorts Nongsa

Very convenient from Sg Tanah Merah ferry terminal, about 30 min ride to Nongsa and Montigo provides land transfer. The place gives a relaxing vibe, it is beautiful with many plants all around. The sea view was beautiful. Rooms were huge. Even for 2 people. I was alone and it was luxurious. Very good for solo rest, not cope up feeling. Lots of room to move around. Even to exercise. The room has an attached private pool. And the view faces the sea. I could see sun set every evening. It is very private so can hardly hear noise from "neighbours". I was given am upgrade to premium. However the toilet had a stench which did not work out for me. The next morning they swiftly transferred me out into another room. Though back to a standard villa (what i paid for initially) it was just as spacious and the toilet was perfect. Montigo has a watsapp system where they meet your needs almost instantly. The guest is in a group chat with the front desk, housekeeping and a few others dept. Whatever you ask, like for a buggy ride or request for more towels or glasses or questions about restaurant opening hours, it will be replied quite instantly and needs will be met in minutes. That was really very efficient! There are 2 room services each day, housekeeping in the day and turnover in the evening when they come around to provide more water and surprises like chocolates or cakes. I love the smiles on the people working there, gives very welcoming vibe. They are all very polite and service with joy and pride not expecting anything in return. Overall as a solo traveller, I felt very safe in the place and for 4 nights, I only went out one of the days. The rest was spent in the resort. There are 4 restaurants for dining. I had Jap and Chinese. Both food have standards! For a short relaxing, fuss free and chill solo trip, I will go back to Montigo.

Server Joshua has great communication and interpersonal skills. Food were all great except for the steak. Ordered 1 well-done and 1 medium-well but both were served well-done. We came at 5.45pm, love the sunset view from the Tadd’s restaurant! Thank you!

We had a perfect stay at Montigo Resorts Batam from start to finish and couldn't have asked for a better family holiday. Our villas is nice however looks a bit dated Our check in and check out was seamless easy. Our buggy driver Afrizal is always smile, polite and friendly We enjoyed their variety selections for breakfast, the daily jamu shots available and our family love the Kunyit Asam, staff Irma is friendly and professional always offer our group if we need anything. We spent our last night had pizzas nights & drinks, pizzas were full of flavour, we all enjoyed Margarita, Peperoni and Meatlovers, serve by great staffs ; Harlis, Barliant & Willy What really sets this resort apart are the thoughtful little touches that make guests feel genuinely cared for specially the housekeeping, Bayu, Erwin, Bawi and Nigel The staffs were exceptional. Every team member we encountered was genuinely warm, positive, and happy to help. Their hospitality felt sincere rather than scripted, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Thanks also to Han, Lintang from recreation we had a blast with the shooting range We had a bit disappointed on our in villa dining / room service experience, I would expect foods were delivered on plates (like all other hotels do) NOT in take away boxes (perhaps that’s the standard) honestly, it put me off considering having any more room service, oh yes, I had to wait for one hours for those take away meals to be delivered. Taste was pretty average. My other feedback is using WhatsApp it’s not an ideal communication, it does made me frustrated, it’s not convenient for myself perhaps it’s efficient for hotel. Who knows. I really wish telephone was provided. If anything emergency, who would do a texting really! Overall, delivered an exceptional experience in every way. Between the wonderful staff, amenities, fantastic family facilities, and beautiful location.
