Montigo Resorts Nongsa

Montigo Resort is the best resort i ever been to. Scenery was beautiful and very windy. The cleanliness is excellent. Erwin the room manager is also very helpful. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Montigo recently for a large family gathering with guests staying in 1, 2, and 4 bedroom units. Overall it was a convenient trip from Singapore but not particularly special. I have to say, many of the positive reviews on tripadvisor on the resort seems to be filled with a suspicious amount of reviewers (who name out specific staff) with only 1-2 review history (fraud reviews..). Honest review: Montigo was fine, if you know what you're getting into. This is an affordable, weekend get away from Singapore. During peak times (national holidays, Singapore school holidays) this place is extremely crowded and the service can't keep up - long waits for restaurants, long waits for buggys, etc. Food: overall the restaurant food offerings are pretty decent and the staff do what they can; Howver, their just isn't enough staff and the kitchen isn't able to handle large crowds. breakfast is very average but with a wide assortment as you would expect at this type of resort. Recreational activites, as other have menitoned, all cost money. $18 USD for archery, $22 USD / hour for booking of the tennis court, etc. They are on the high side but they are transparent about that. The pool was very nice, well upkept, with convenient restroom facilities and F&B available just next door. Gym: There is no proper gym except for an 'outdoor' gym with misc equipment that noone would use given it's location and condition. A real shame and you can see the lack of investment / upkeep in the property through this. Rooms: The 4-bedroom villa layouts are not good and I would not recommend this option. The rooms are seperated and you won't end up using the communal area, and the location of the 4-bedroom villas are very far from the main area (13-15 min walk). Buggys on average took 15-25 minutes to arrive (understaffed). All in all, I would not recommend the hotel as a destination from Singapore unless the pricing was particularly attractive.

Montigo Wellness’ Service was amazing. The atmosphere of the place was soothing and relaxing. The drinks served were nice. The masseuse massaged me with the right pressure and I truly enjoyed the experience. Thank you!

Excellent massage service. Fitri is very professional , she will introduce herself and the spa service and throughout the massage, it’s very relaxing! Highly recommend Fitri :) the ambience is very nice here too
