A very peaceful getaway.
Less than 10 mins from Nongsa ferry terminal and they will call a shuttle bus to pick u up. Very nice and friendly environment here. Newly renovated villas too make this place more connected and modern. Daily cleaning also removes all natural dirt that you bring back from the beach. Mosquitoes are plenty so do bring repellents. Villa rooms are super sound proof so even if your neighbor is hosting a party it’s virtually silent in your bedroom.

Best staff, lovely experience
The staff were all engaged and fantastic w the kids, so we immensely enjoyed our experience. The hotel is a little old but still very spacious. Pantai and Warung had the best food and we'll go back for the deep fried salted eggplant and steamed seabass anytime. Its pretty far from everything else so plan to be resort bound. Overall lovely experience and kudos to all the staff.

Lovely vacation
Excellent stay at Montigo, with a lovely dinner at Pantai. Great service by Rafly at Pantai Restaurant. Waited a while for the food but the excellent sea bass more than made up for it.

Short ferry ride to paradise - must dine at Pantai!
Went to Batam for the first time and stayed at Montigo. The resort was nice to upgrade our one bedroom villa to a two bedroom deluxe villa. Tons of space available in the villa with 3 levels - pool/living/kitchen at L1, bedrooms at L2 and a roof deck. May not be good if you don't like stairs. Pillows were too soft but we were able to request for harder ones. Overall, a nice stay with comfortable and quiet surroundings. Breakfast was pretty good also. Special mention goes to Pantai Restaurant and their staff. We dined there two days in a row. Their hor fun and bee hoon were the bombs! Their thick soups were also damn good. The wok hey in their stir firsd dishes can put some Sg Tze Char stalls to shame. Best hor fun and bee hoon we have ever had! That includes Sg ones! Now we are thinking if we should take the 50 min ferry here just for the hor fun and bee hoon! Service was also top notch!
