Not a 5☆ hotel by any stretch
I have no idea why this is rated a 5☆hotel. When we arrived the car park (pre booked) was rammed. When we checked in it was as if a cruise ship has just arrived. Chaos in reception and indifferent staff. Eventually we were showed to our room which was decorated in 'traditional' style. Apparently the restaurant was full and unable to accommodate us (it's a franchise). Reception booked us a 'traditional ' restaurant nearby, which turned out to be a burger joint. After much complaining a better restaurant was booked (which was lovely) but we were 'lucky, as it was Saturday night'. There are several better hotels in Beaune, all with much better restaurants. Book wisely !

Unique and lovely
The hotel is simply darling -- a unique little gem. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, especially since our French is not as good as their English! Unfortunately, Beaune was our first stop of the trip and we probably would have enjoyed it even more if we hadn't been jet lagged!!!

Our stay was magical!
The property is stunning in all aspects. The staff was professional and excellent. Our cozy Traditional room had pretty church views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!!
