Love this location, just a quick walk to the Beaver Creek main shopping/eating area. Valet, front desk, housekeeping staff very friendly and prompt. Loved the Beaver Creek shuttle bus that took us so easily from the front door to the lifts (never waited more than 2 mins for a bus). Our room was very clean, but could use some minor improvements. The very nice front desk lady pointed out if I had booked directly with the hotel and not I would have had a better room(that irritated me a little since we paid a lot!). Room 1150 has good and bad: Good: - Nice layout - Bathroom has entrance from bedroom and hall so if extra people on pull-out sofa they can access bathroom (be careful though, doors slam shut easily) - Furniture very comfortable, love the L-shaped couch for hanging out - Kitchen well-stocked - Decor is pleasant, nice paintings Needs improvement: - Color of walls is dark, mustard yellow and dark burgundy. Truly felt like we were in a dungeon since lighting isn't great. - Bedroom needs more lights! Maybe an up-facing lamp to spread light? There are 3 lamps in the room, but the light they give makes it hard to even read a book. - Kitchen floor is a liability waiting to happen. The wood is so slippery, with or without socks. Be careful! - Need to replace shower curtain with a clear one. Light is so faint in the shower that when you shut the opaque curtain you can barely see. Overall great stay, room just needs a few improvements. Thanks!

The rooms or suites are large, so for families there is room to spread out once back to the hotel. No lunch at the hotel but the village center is only a 5 minute uphill (steps) walk. The decor reminds me of a place you would end up in the movie "Hot Tub Time Machine" back to the 70 or 80s. Came here for a conference and the room set up for the conference was terrible. Did not eat here as there was no lunch and breakfast started late 7 am.

This property is marginal. I was actually so worried about one of the desk clerks, I asked her if she was ok. She was like a robot and looked like she’d been beaten. The responses were so unnatural and rude, too. The men weren’t any better. They just didn’t care. They put me on a hallway that stank like stale casino smoke. I had to fight with them for a different room and they put me next to laundry. It seems like the employees are all abused! Two of them were awesome but just overwhelmed. The good things included the two guys who helped set up our conference breakfasts and the convenient location. Would not come here again.

Family of 5 stayed here. Location convenient. On premise ski rental is nice. Ski in ski out excellent. However compared to the modern amenities of its competition, Charter needs face lift. The hot tub is hard to get to unless you walk through the lobby. The restaurant is dark and old looking. The rooms (while clean) have dated decorations, appliances, and lack basic items you would expect from a weekly rental like basic kitchen supplies. Charter could be great again but needs a lot of maintenance.

Just returned from Beaver Creek after a week of Skiing. Stayed at the Charter with a ski Club Group. Location was Good with Ski in and Out offered. Getting on to Slopes requires a Short Ski down the Trail behind the Hotel to the Lift. Getting Back requires a trip down a Trail which can be accessed near the Strawberry lift. Or you can get the Shuttle at the Front Door and be Dropped off at Centennial Entrance to Slopes. All is Easy. The rooms are decorated by each owner and the ones we saw where very nice. Spa is in the Main lodge and was very Convenient.. Workout room was Good with free weights (Dumbbells'). Machines and Several Cardio Machines. Spa has Several Masseuses'. 2 outdoor hot tubes & 1 indoor and one indoor Pool. Recommended.
