Fabulous City Centre Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We stayed in an Elite Classic room and were very pleased. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. They have everything you could need including robes, slippers, coffee & tea and a full amenity kit. We took average of the complimentary appetizers and drinks in the lobby bar. The location is great, within walking distance of Forbidden City and a walking street with loads of restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Would recommend for a central stay in Beijing.

Lovely stay.

Beautiful hotel. Great staff. We would have liked to have some milk for our tea left in the room. But this is a very small gripe on my part.

Very centrally located, in walking distance to Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. High standard of rooms - I have stayed at the new extension of the hotel. Beautiful rooms, very spacious and clean. Huge and delicious international breakfast buffet.

From the moment we booked, Nuo Hotel Beijing delivered an exceptional level of service. Gavin, the Rooms Division Manager, reached out even before our arrival to confirm preferences, arrange our room, and answer every question with impressive professionalism. On check-in day, Gavin personally welcomed us in the lobby and, together with the lovely Ms. Kseniia, escorted us to our room. Kseniia’s warm introduction to the hotel’s features and thoughtful explanations of in-room amenities made us feel instantly at home. The concierge team deserves equal praise. Whether it was directions, dining recommendations, or arranging transport, their prompt, knowledgeable assistance added genuine value to our visit and allowed us to explore Beijing with ease. Elegant surroundings, immaculate rooms, and attentive staff—Nuo Hotel Beijing exceeded our highest expectations. Special thanks again to Gavin, Ms. Kseniia, and the entire concierge team for turning a great stay into a truly memorable one. Highly recommended!

Unexpected service from a 5stars hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 months ago

The location is good, walking distance to Wangfujing shopping area, yet quiet surrounding. There is a back entrance near to the access lift to the room that can cut across to reach Wangfujing, but it only operate between 7am to 10pm, if not u have to walk a big round to enter the hotel. The room is big and clean but old. It comes with a living room, there are 2 tv that are old, 1 tv is faulty and the other got some signal issue at time. The toilet basin water draining was slow too, end up the water accumulated while u are using. Aircon was cold, at least during June, only the wind speed can be adjusted. Take note that if you are travelling in a transport that is bigger than 9 seaters, the driver could only drop you at the back entrance, not the front door as there is restriction to enter the area. It would be a problem for your luggages if have to leave the hotel before 7am in a big group. The service is not expected in a 5stars hotel under the big brand. When we approach the staff for assistance, they would not do more to help, but only reply with the standard answer and leave u helplessly. We had to activate our tour guide to speak to the hotel manager, and finally the hotel proposed solution to resolve our issue. Overall, with the service and restriction area, I would not recommend the hotel as there are marriot apartment nearby to consider with no restriction for vehicle entering.
