- The check-in and checkout were incredibly quick and smooth, probably the fastest I've ever experienced in my life, even with that zhushudengji stuff you gotta do in China. I'd like to extend a special thanks to Sophia, the Korean-speaking staff member who made me feel right at home. As someone whose Chinese is pretty much non-existent, having a multilingual staff like her around was a total lifesaver ☺️ In fact, all of the staff members were attentive and kind, truly embodying the image of Conrad that I'd been expecting. - Location-wise, the hotel is in a prime spot. Hujialou station (Line 6/10) is just a short walk away, so getting around the city was a breeze. And a longer 20-min stroll gets you to Sanlitun, for wandering around shops and bars. My room had a spectacular view of the CBD area, where I could also admire the iconic CCTV tower! - The room and amenities were spotless, leaving nothing to complain about. The hotel's gym was well-maintained with those fancy Technogym equipments. Also, being able to order room service via WeChat was super convenient! They have photos of each menu item there, which helped me decide on what to eat. - I really enjoyed my breakfast at the Chapter. Although the variety of options was not extensive, each dish was tasty and well-prepared. I particularly liked that I could order dishes like niuroumian from the menu. Like the breakfast, the executive lounge didn't have a ton of options, but every food served during afternoon tea and cocktail hours were delicious. All in all, my 3-day stay at the Conrad Beijing was just impressive... Great location, awesome team members, and all those true Conrad vibes really made my stay. Would definitely stay here again next time!!

While this hotel is quite elegant, I'm sorry to say the SPA service was below average. The attendants were quite distracted and joking around. During the service you can tell therapist was playing on her phone spending too much time on some areas and too little on others. During the service the attendant with badge 132 couldn't explain the service and kept pushing to upsell undesirable services. What I was expecting to be a relaxing experience was quite hectic and did not meet service expectations.

This Hotel was part of 6 country tour for my Birthday. I am extremely grateful the actual date of my birthday was at the Conrad Hotel, Beijing. Hospitality started at the entrance of the Hotel and it extended through out my entire stay. My Birthday was acknowledge and I was invited to light the Christmas Tree at the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, which took place on my Birthday. Although I was among initial strangers, I had a wonderful time and new friends. My Birthday celebration was made possible by the General Manager Sidney Hardy and enhanced by Anca Vizitiu and staff.

After the long pandemic time it was the time to back again. All is good and the staff are great, Howard is very helpful to meet the room requirement. The lounge service can be improved since the food is not as good as before, and the quality is needed to be improved. Still enjoy the stay in this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and the GM, Seymour Hardy is a super personable guy. The rooms are like most 5 star hotels. Great linens and immaculate. The pool is a nice 25 meters long and not cold. Views high up are great and the breakfast buffet is partly buffet and partly made to order. The only things lacking were in relation to the facilities - there was no sauna nor steam room. Also the jacuzzi was more like a warm oversized bathtub. I think it had to do with the city ordinances that prohibit building them in now? Also, there was no “quick spin-dryer” for wet swimsuits. Most 5 star hotels have those now. The executive lounge had decent food during happy hour though a bit lacking for vegetarians. The building seemed a bit old in some areas, but overall they do a good job keeping it fresh. Howard S. I really would give it 4.5 stars but there’s no way to leave a “half” star.
