Reviews for Four Seasons Hotel Beijing

If you go to Beijing, stay at the Four Seasons

Very good experience overall, high quality service and nice room. I personally liked the gym as a sport enthusiast and you can use spa right after the training. So we loved the hotel and can only recommend it if you look for high-end experience. The Hotel can also organize private tours which are great to explore the famous sightseeing options in the area of Beijing. We took a tour to the Lama Temple and to the Great Wall with Mr. David Kuang. It was a wonderful trip with private Driver and Tour Guide. We had a lot of fun and learnt a lot about the history of China. We can highly recommend these tours where they take care of your and your wished during the journey.

All is perfectly 🤩, the staff and the structure, I really want to return. The breakfast and the rooms is clean and delicious, all is working🙏🏻 I’m Brazilian so I didn’t have a problem with the language in my first time and solo here. I liked all

Fabulous and hospital stay

Treated like a little prince! The room was a win with our kids, and the food and hospitality out of this world. We enjoyed a trip to the Great Wall with Licia. Friendly, insightful and knowledgeable of the key areas, great with the kids. Licia also helped us with our foodie queries. Going over and above to support with where to purchase food items as well as places to eat. Our driver was also a superstar, taking our items back from the day that we didn’t need for our evening out. Would recommend Licia for any of your tourist needs. Thank you!

The Four Seasons and personalized guided tour were exceptional in the quality of service. David, our tour guide, was informative and friendly and went out of his way to ensure that we were well looked after and well-informed on the history behind Beijing in particular and China in general. David made sure every request we made was carried out, and we felt safe in his care. Nothing was too much effort for him and our driver was incredibly accommodating too. The spa service we received at the Four Seasons was world-class and we left relaxed and happy. Thank you for the professional and exceptional hospitality.

Close to perfect

Plus points: - mail upfront inquiring about personal wishes for the stay - after small hick up they made up for it with an upgrade to a better room and flowers upon my arrival - early check in (one hour) no problem, fast and friendly check in, beautiful flower arrangements in the lobby - room comfortable, very good bed, beautiful bathroom and well chosen amenities like tea, coffee, bathroom necessities - stunning views especially from the bathtub - very attentive service in the club lounge, bringing and refilling drinks, helping me quickly and professionally with everything, even carrying a chair an table for me out on the yet closed terrace so I could enjoy my tea time in the sun shine - personal touches made me feel at home: I read a lot during my stay and found a bookmark on my bed with a personal note :) - the food in the club lounge was really good especially the home baked cakes, bread and deserts. Absolutely top notch. All food items exceeded my already high expectations in terms of quality and freshness. - hotel close to lianma river, chaoyang park and Solana shopping mall. I enjoy the walking distance a lot. What I would improve: - windows in my room were not clean, which takes away from the view experience. I know it’s hard in a city like Beijing but if the view is a selling point, it should be delivered or not advertised - the pool was too cold (sports temperature eventhough not a sports pool), the whirlpool was too hot. The pools were both mostly empty because one could just not feel comfortable there. - The sauna in the ladies dressing room is way too hot and I say that as a passionate European sauna lover. Next to the too hot sauna was another way too hot bath. No shower or cold bath to cool down. Only a little ice fountain which does not help much. If you want a cold shower you have to walk through the entire dressing room. Also the only resting beds are in the public pool area, so you need to get dressed again to get there. People looking for a sauna relaxation experience should not go here. - the terrace of the club lounge on the 26th floor has a stunning view but eventhough the weather was awesome it was not open which was such a disappointment not only to me but to other guests as well. The reason was that there was no seating or tables available so the helpless staff could not change anything about it. I would definitely put some flexible furnishings there so you can react more spontaneously to weather changes. - the wine in the club lounge was poor and did not match the outstanding food quality by far. I know it is difficult with import taxes… the whiskey sour I drank was fine, maybe it would make sense to hire a bar tender and make a bit of a show out of the cocktails and offer better wine at a reasonable surcharge? Bad wine is just so sad… - the room service food I ordered (salmon, salad, mashed potatoes, bernaise) was bland and overpriced. The sauce was clotted. That needs improvement. I would at least put salt and pepper on all tables of the club lounge and also send it with the food to the room. Overall I loved my stay and would come back any time.
