Terrible TERRIBLE experience As a corporate traveller, I usually don’t really care about “hotel service”. But this one is a classic retail bully situation I arrived at hotel around 9pm and before our car stopped properly, a security guard came very rudely tell us to F off. I was very shocked and obviously there is no concierge guy outside (later turns out every concierge guy is inside including their deputy manager Mr. shen, very very arrogant guy btw) Despite the rude security guard didn’t give me direction, I luckily found where is the check in counter and I told front desk what happened, zero reaction, so I called manager in duty, Ms. Liang who at least pretended to care. Then I asked her who is our corporate sales executive, she said will get back to me After 30mins no one called me, I called back and was told manager in duty is on something urgent. I am ok with my matter was not urgent… and obviously no one will attend to it. So, amazingly careless hotel, especially Mr. Shen and whoever is the manager there… I am a member of Carlyle Co, part of Rosewood group or New world group, guarantee you this is not a rosewood standard 有別的住別的吧 車沒停好就趕人走 值班經理和禮賓部副經理除了忙就是牛 根本沒空理你 你有compliant？如果你幸運的話他們能理下你 不會幸運的話你可以來我這裡接龍你的不幸經歷。。

The ROSEWOOD Beijing. A beautifully appointed hotel with spectacular views of citictower, beijingtower, cctvheadquarters from our studio suite. Especially at night. The generosity of the hotel was unimaginable. As a super luxury hotel brand, the Rosewood amenities were all of the best quality. From the toiletries to the in house pens, room slippers, evening turn down service with accompanying snacks. It was like being showered with gifts. Such a touch of class. Opened in 2014 the hotel remains very current in terms of style & luxury. An abundant choice of restaurants & bars which makes this a destination hotel for both hotel guests & guests from within the mega capital. I loved the Manor club an exclusive sanctuary for guests who wish to pay a little extra for greater quiet enjoyment for breakfast, high tea & cocktails. Exclusive quality champagne were offered. Presentation, service & quality was first class. My only reservation with the hotel hardware was the spa. It could have been better planed with an extensive area for a large hot tub/jaccuzzi, together with a decent steam & sauna room with a resting area. The existing spa facilities were far too basic for a luxury hotel. The spa needs to be a destination & especially enjoyable during freezing winter months. On another matter, the signage of the hotel needs to be much more visible & where the security staff needs to at know the name of the hotel in English. When I arrived from the airport & having not visited China for 20 years, they completely ignored me as they spoke no English. This came as quite a shock. I of course made my presentations where the hotel redeemed themselves with an abundance of apologies & granting me the best possible service. One of my favorite hotels in the world. Even better than rosewood HK. The Manorclub extraordinary- very much worth as an add on.
