The St Regis is not the newest, but still a very recommendable business hotel in Beijing surrounded by embassies. Staff s very helpful and qualified. We worked long hours at the business center in 18F where we treated with perfect service as in our own office. Very nice buffet breakfast with al fresco tables outside in the park (if Beijing air quality just allowed...) and small but cozy press room bar which offers wining & dining free of charge (for platinum SPG members only?) in the evening. Definitely will return for my next stay in Beijing.

I stayed at the hotel for three nights with a group of friends. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The response time from housekeeping and in room dining was also fast. The hotel is located conveniently in the vicinity of CBD and the train station is nearby. There are few restaurants and coffee shops nearby too.

This was my first time at the St. Regis Beijing and I was impressed. When checking-in I had three front-desk staff attend to me and it was a very smooth process, the front-desk staff are excellent in customer relations. A bellman escorted me to my room and I found the temperature set exactly as I requested in my pre-arrival preferences. Within five minutes, my butler arrived to orient me, unpack my luggage, and take away my items to be pressed. I had a really comfortable room and I really liked the dark marble in the bathroom and the stocked mini refrigerator. All of the expected toiletries were there and in-room safe, robe, slippers, etc. As I said in my review title, the really go out of their way for their guests. One night we needed a taxi but one could not be found (nobody could figure out why the shortage that night) and we had a dinner reservation that would cancel if more than 15 minutes late. It was getting close so the doorman used his personal account on his personal mobile phone to request a car for us (the Beijing equivalent to Uber) and we were on our way. Of course we paid him for the trip and gave his a worthy tip. In the club lounge, I asked a server about a particularly tasty dish and when I approached her, two other staff members appeared on the spot to assist. Staff always acknowledge me in all areas of the hotel with a friendly greeting. The buffet breakfast was amazing every day. I wish that I had taken pictures to share. The club lounge on the ground floor is nice if not small, but only because any hotel guess may enter, and they do. It's best to arrive right at the start of cocktail hour. The hot appetizers were very good and the variety of wines and cocktails were very good as well. The only down side with staying at a hotel like this is that it gets high-profile guests. One night in particular, we had to walk to the main boulevard to hail a taxi because the surrounding streets were closed off to vehicles because the president of a foreign nation was in the hotel. I understand that U.S. President Obama also stayed here. I would certainly stay here on my next visit to Beijing.

Great location on the intersection of 2nd Ring Rd and Chang An Ave. Also close the subway station. Building is a bit old but had renovations recently. Staff are friendly and helpful. Had buffet lunch at the Chinese restaurant, food was above average. After all, a great hotel but is trailing behind some other newer properties.

This was my third stay at the hotel and once again it was wonderful. The Statesman suites are comfortable and have a nice entrance and comfortable sitting area for a small meeting. The bedroom is a bit tight but the bathroom is great with a separate shower and nicely finished. The closet is very nice with built in drawers. They have a wonderful buffet breakfast with a wide variety for all tastes. The hotel is well located and close to many attractions. The hotel pool is also very nice and a nice swim there is a great escape. I have stayed at a number of hotels in Beijing and would definitely recommend the St. Regis.
