Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort

This was our second time to Heritage La Telfair and it will not be our last. From the time you arrive to the time you leave the customer experience is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for the hardworking staff, they are always friendly and always have a smile on their face. I have to mention the incredible Alan who did all our restaurant and golf bookings, he even managed to come through when we asked for some last minute changes. Alan’s attention to detail is phenomenal and it really makes you feel special. We were on the gourmet bliss package and the choice of restaurants means you’re spoilt for choice. The variety and quality of the food is outstanding. Our favourite restaurants are Gin’ja and The Chateau, the settings for both are breathtaking. Our room was spacious and always cleaned to the highest standards. The whole estate is vast and diverse, the two golf courses are amongst the best I have played and the facilities cover everything the golfer needs. All in all just a great experience!!

We spent a perfect two weeks here from 8th-22nd January 2026 on the ‘Gourmet Bliss’ all inclusive package. We arrived at our suite to a ‘welcome’ bottle of rum and coconut cake, and gifts were frequently left in our room across the holiday. The food is excellent, favourite restaurant being ‘Le Chateau’ but also loved Le Palmier, C Beach club and also enjoyed the neighbouring restaurants on Awali resort, especially ‘Infinity Bue’. An excellent choice of wines are available and the sommeliers are always in hand to assist with your choices. The cocktails were perfect also, especially when delivered to your sun lounger by the butler service. We are both golfers and played most days on either La Reserva Golf Links or Le Chateau Golf Course thanks to the unlimited free green fees. The staff are very attentive and friendly and a special shout out goes to Noor, our personal assistant, whose attention to detail was excellent. This is a top class resort and I can’t recommend it highly enough. We will be back!!

This was our second visit to this resort and this one was just as good as our first trip. We were looked after fantastically well by our concierge Alan and the resort offered beautiful rooms and plenty of restaurant choices. We stayed for 16 days and played golf on 9 of these days. Both the Chateau and Le Reserve courses were world class courses. All in all and if you are looking for some winter sunshine and great golf then this really should be a must. Would suggest going for the gourmet bliss package as we felt that this offered great value for money.

This was our second time at this hotel. We had a fantastic holiday last year so rebooked again for this year. We were not disappointed. Our concierge Alan, looked after us fantastically well and all the staff were great. We are already looking to book again for next January. The rooms are fantastic and level and choice of food is amazing. We played a total of 9 rounds of golf in our 16 days and both Le Chateau and Le Reserve are both world class courses. For those looking for winter sun and fantastic golf then this place is an absolute must.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Mauritius, an island of stunning beauty! We also liked the hotel, built in colonial style, with well-kept, green grounds. Many thanks to Ashni for her professionalism and attentive approach to her work. While we were on holiday, she was the only one walking around the hotel grounds, checking with guests to see if everything was okay and if they needed any help. She is a very responsive and kind girl. The food at the hotel is very tasty, we recommend it.
