Named for famed 19th century naturalist, Charles Telfair, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius embodies beauty and elegance while celebrating its natural, unspoiled backdrop adrift in the Indian Ocean. Stretched across 15 acres atop the sandy shores of Bel Ombre Beach, Heritage Le Telfair's intimate village design includes 20 villas, each with 6-8 rooms that enjoy breathtaking beach views, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that permit abundant natural light to flow into the expansive living quarters. With design inspired by the French Colonial period on the island, rooms are outfitted with dark wood, over sized four-poster beds, lavish drapery and textiles, and a soft palette of light blue, green, and brown hues. En-suite bathrooms include claw-foot tubs in suites, walk-in showers, spacious dressing facilities, and plush bathrobes. Beautiful and dispointeing
The room and the resort is beautiful, but the food was terrible. Both breakfast and dinner were far below expectations, and I would not return because of it. Special thanks to Azagen from Housekeeping he was the best staff member we dealt with, very kind and professional, and he handled our issue perfectly.

Beautiful Mauritius.
Joined my husband who was on a golfing trip for his last two days. He loved Le Telfair and both courses and although my stay was brief, I had a great stay enjoying the Spa and walking the courses to keep me fit. Several restaurants to choose from and cocktails kept me happy in the evening. Thank you to the staff for looking after us both. Mrs G.

Staying at Heritage Le Telfair - Aug 2026
We came in late August. Sunny and 26 degrees everyday. Gentle breeze. Beautiful location, in immaculate grounds. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms, nice and spacious. Great food options, bars and eating choices. Heated pools and good choice of water based activities and land based activities. Have a choice of 2 golf courses nearby with club higher was the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend coming here. Shout outs to Noor and Melvin for their excellent service.

Nestled in a superb setting with a great colonial style architecture,Le Telfair is a gem in the South of the island.The service is absolutely impeccable coupled with great food and awesome ambience.Hats off to Selvani whom will make sure that your stay there remains perfect!

Wonderful stay
We stayed here for 3 nights during and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From check-in to check-out, the staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed —The location was ideal, and the heated pool was a great bonus. A special shoutout to SPICY an amazing person — she really made our stay memorable.
