Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort

I recently stayed at Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort in Bel Ombre, Mauritius, and overall, it was truly memorable experience with a few standout moments that made our stay even more special. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and professional, always going the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. The resort itself is beaytifully designed, with charming colonial-style architecture that gives it a unique and elegant atmosphere. Walking around the property feels peaceful and luxurious at the same time. The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. A very special mention goes to our housekeeping lady - in the La Preneuse wing, who truly made a difference during our stay. The room was always impeccably clean, well organised, and thoughtfully arranged. You could really feel the care and attention she put in making our stay comfortable each day. We were also assigned a dedicated guest relation/concierge - Heena, who was absolutely outstanding. She really went the xtra mile for us- from helping with restaurant reservations to making sure everything was perfectly arranged throughout our stay. Her attentiveness and willingness to assist made the experience seamless and truly elevated our stay. Another highlight was the Cavendish bar team and Gingja restaurant. A special thank you to the exceptional Spicy, jason and Daksh who were fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made our evenings there even more enjoyable with great service and a welcomimg atmosphere.

An excellent hotel made truly special by its people The Telfair is a remarkable resort. The range of restaurants, facilities, and setting are all exceptional, and we genuinely struggled to find anything that fell short — which is rare. La Réserve Golf Course is a standout and its growing reputation is well deserved; the Château Golf course was great and its restaurant was equally impressive. But what truly set our stay apart was the staff. Ashni was our go-to throughout and handled everything with grace and efficiency. At Gin’ja, the on site Asian restaurant - the food was brilliant and Darsh, Hansley and the wider team made every visit feel genuinely special. At the Château restaurant, Tushya, Keshavi and Sheetal were warm and attentive, and the chef clearly has real standards. Kenny’s padel sessions were enthusiastic and great fun, while Lionel and Jordan at the wellness centre were equally impressive. The spa, treatments and yoga sessions were a real highlight - with a guest instructor flown in for special classes . Coco, at the concierge who took us on an island tour, was knowledgeable and wonderful company. And Noah and the many bar team members & staff rounded everything off beautifully. The reception, drivers, cleaning and serving staff all deserve equal recognition. Unfailingly warm, efficient, and immaculate throughout. These are the unsung heroes of any great stay, and at the Telfair they are exceptional. Thanks also to Dominique, the general manager. We very much hope to return.

We stayed at the Heritage Le Telfair from April 19th to 27th, 2026. The resort is beautiful and very well-maintained. The welcome and service from Anais were simply superb. She organized and arranged so much for us, providing top-notch service, which we also experienced thanks to the incredibly friendly staff at the bar, in the restaurants, at the adults-only pool, and at the main beach bar. The Chateau is particularly recommendable; the location and the food are simply outstanding. Spicy, the lively, incredibly organized all-rounder, also won our hearts. She was always present and took wonderful care of us. The golf courses, The Chateau and Reserve Links, are a dream and very well-maintained. The food in the clubhouses is very good. The Heritage is situated on a beautiful beach, and there are many places to relax and enjoy the day. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Heritage and thank everyone for the wonderful stay. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful location. The facilities are great, but the service is what really sets this resort apart. A special shoutout to Spicy, who looked after us so well and kept us laughing the whole time, you made our stay so memorable! Lastly, the food at Ginja was amazing and a real highlight of our trip.
