About the Hotel

Named for famed 19th century naturalist, Charles Telfair, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius embodies beauty and elegance while celebrating its natural, unspoiled backdrop adrift in the Indian Ocean. Stretched across 15 acres atop the sandy shores of Bel Ombre Beach, Heritage Le Telfair's intimate village design includes 20 villas, each with 6-8 rooms that enjoy breathtaking beach views, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that permit abundant natural light to flow into the expansive living quarters. With design inspired by the French Colonial period on the island, rooms are outfitted with dark wood, over sized four-poster beds, lavish drapery and textiles, and a soft palette of light blue, green, and brown hues. En-suite bathrooms include claw-foot tubs in suites, walk-in showers, spacious dressing facilities, and plush bathrobes. Our experience was extraordinary. Service in the hotel is exquisite, our host and manager Melvin was very welcoming and friendly, he helped us with every reservation and recommendations around the island. The hotel offers many sports activities, even championships in sports like padel and volleyball. Territory is amazing, it is so beautiful and nice to walk around. There is even a museum of marine life in the hotel. You can truly choose any type of vacation you like here and enjoy the beauty of nature and amazing service.

We had a wonderful and truly memorable stay at Heritage Le Telfair. The resort is beautiful, but what really made our experience special was the warmth and genuine hospitality of the team. A very special thank you to Dominic, the General Manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. His personal attention, warmth, and genuine effort to ensure everything was perfect made a lasting impression on us. We would also like to mention Hansy and Sharmaine at the front desk. Hansy was always warm and helpful, while Sharmaine deserves a special mention for her exceptional warmth, patience, and willingness to assist with even the smallest details. She consistently made us feel genuinely looked after. A special thank you as well to Gregory at Ginza, whose attentive and friendly service made our dining experiences even more enjoyable. It is rare to come across a team that makes you feel so genuinely cared for. Thank you to everyone at Heritage Le Telfair for making our trip so memorable. We would love to return.

A Magical Sanctuary Brought to Life by an Amazing Team

From start to finish, our stay at Heritage Le Telfair was exceptional. The resort grounds are stunning, and the experiences offered are top-notch. The 2-hour quad bike tour with Jerome through varied terrain across the reserve was an incredible adventure! For dinner, the Wagyu steak and prawn ceviche at Le Château de Bel Ombre were out of this world. Special gratitude to Widley for the smooth transfers, Melvin for being the most attentive personal concierge, and Jossy at the front desk for making everything effortless. Ramba and Kingsley gave us pure relaxation at the wellness hub, and Sheetal provided wonderful service during our dinner at Le Château. Thank you to everyone at Heritage Le Telfair for making our trip so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
