Named for famed 19th century naturalist, Charles Telfair, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius embodies beauty and elegance while celebrating its natural, unspoiled backdrop adrift in the Indian Ocean. Stretched across 15 acres atop the sandy shores of Bel Ombre Beach, Heritage Le Telfair's intimate village design includes 20 villas, each with 6-8 rooms that enjoy breathtaking beach views, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that permit abundant natural light to flow into the expansive living quarters. With design inspired by the French Colonial period on the island, rooms are outfitted with dark wood, over sized four-poster beds, lavish drapery and textiles, and a soft palette of light blue, green, and brown hues. En-suite bathrooms include claw-foot tubs in suites, walk-in showers, spacious dressing facilities, and plush bathrobes. A tropical paradise
The location was perfect for pure relaxation and wellness. The gardens and entertainment areas were beautiful, very tropical and clean. The food was average in most restaurants, except for the sushi that was served at Gin Ja and the meat dish at Chateau Bel Ombré that were excellent. We enjoyed an invigorating couples massage treatment that targeted all stress points by experienced therapists. The ginger tea after the treatment was delicious. The group Pilates classes were very good and exactly what I needed. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities expected from a hotel of this standard. The only real fault that I could find was the cleaning of the rooms. They were not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to couples, families and especially golfers.

A wonderful experience
It was a wonderful holiday. Golf was brilliant. All staff were brilliant at the resorts and at tge hotel. Restaurants were all very good. The bar staff were excellent in the The Cavendish. The maid service Marie Ann was excellent. We will definitely come back

Lovely hotel
Lovely few days at heritage le telfair. Recommend Gin’ja for dinner and the Cavendish bar for drinks. Rooms are lovely and clean. Special mention to Vicky, Ketis, Valerie, Melvin and Spicy. They have been great.

Special treat.
This resort is beautiful, especially if you want a bit of luxury and pampering. The food options are super. And the attentive service is exceptional. Special shout out to Valerie who took care of us every day on the adult only wing pool / beach, she is a credit to this establishment. Nothing was to much trouble and service was always delivered with a smile.

Amazing Place and Service!
Beautiful hotel and service, Valerie by the adults only pool has been fantastic for us every day. Ketis, Melvin & Vicky have all been amazing!!
