Named for famed 19th century naturalist, Charles Telfair, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius embodies beauty and elegance while celebrating its natural, unspoiled backdrop adrift in the Indian Ocean. Stretched across 15 acres atop the sandy shores of Bel Ombre Beach, Heritage Le Telfair's intimate village design includes 20 villas, each with 6-8 rooms that enjoy breathtaking beach views, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that permit abundant natural light to flow into the expansive living quarters. With design inspired by the French Colonial period on the island, rooms are outfitted with dark wood, over sized four-poster beds, lavish drapery and textiles, and a soft palette of light blue, green, and brown hues. En-suite bathrooms include claw-foot tubs in suites, walk-in showers, spacious dressing facilities, and plush bathrobes. At Heritage Le Telfair the smallest details are handled with the greatest care, because your comfort, pleasure, and experience are top priority.

Our recent stay at Heritage Le Telfair was absolutely amazing and truly memorable. A special thank you to Anais and Nishita, who were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Anais went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special, and we genuinely appreciated the thoughtful gestures. As Jains and pure vegetarians, we were initially a little concerned about food, but we faced absolutely no issues. Chef Bergicourt created amazing breakfasts for us and put in tremendous effort and time to ensure we always had delicious vegetarian options. It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The dinners at Annabella's, Ginja, and O'Grill were excellent, each offering great food and wonderful ambience. We also loved the vibes at La Palmier and had an amazing experience at Le Château de Bel Ombre. C Beach was just okay for us—as it specialises in seafood, vegetarians may find limited options, though it's still a lovely spot to relax by the beach. The activities offered by the resort were fantastic, and honestly, we felt we needed more time just to explore the property itself. The Sea Shell Museum was fascinating, and the golf courses were beautiful. A special shoutout to Spicy for being such a friendly and familiar face in a new place! The only area for improvement would be housekeeping and room maintenance. We unfortunately got injured due to fresh paint in our room, although the team responded promptly and helped us immediately. Overall, Heritage Le Telfair exceeded our expectations, and we left with beautiful memories. We would happily recommend this resort, especially to vegetarian travellers looking for a luxurious and welcoming stay in Mauritius.

The hotel is laid out over a wide area in the colonial style with a tidal river running through it. Our ground floor room 202 is in the Adult section and was 50m from the beach and 10m from swimming pool. The staff are extremely polite and professional in there work especially SPICEY who makes you feel so relaxed with here laughter 😃 and conversations. Food is superb location is great beach facilities fantastic with towels comfortable sun loungers and staff on hand for your drinks , food etc. There is a reef surrounding the hotel and lying listening to the waves crashing in the distance makes you even more relaxed Have we enjoyed it a big YES did we want to leave NO. Yes I would recommend this hotel to anyone .

A return trip & we were not disappointed, from meeting the wonderful Spicy who has a wonderful personality making us feel at home, Shermine who helped us with all our requests, the wonderful waiting staff in all the restaurants especially Jason in the fantastic GinJa restaurant. Everyone was attentive & nothing was too much trouble. By the adult pool & beach the service was great. Hoping to return again & see all the staff especially Spicy.
