About the Hotel
Named for famed 19th century naturalist, Charles Telfair, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius embodies beauty and elegance while celebrating its natural, unspoiled backdrop adrift in the Indian Ocean. Stretched across 15 acres atop the sandy shores of Bel Ombre Beach, Heritage Le Telfair's intimate village design includes 20 villas, each with 6-8 rooms that enjoy breathtaking beach views, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that permit abundant natural light to flow into the expansive living quarters. With design inspired by the French Colonial period on the island, rooms are outfitted with dark wood, over sized four-poster beds, lavish drapery and textiles, and a soft palette of light blue, green, and brown hues. En-suite bathrooms include claw-foot tubs in suites, walk-in showers, spacious dressing facilities, and plush bathrobes. Our third great stay
Our third time back at Heritage and we loved it as ever A bit sad to see that kids can no longer dine at Ginja except for Wednesdays, and also the addition of an adult only area where we used to say. The hotel felt a bit more geared up to adult golfers than previous years A shame when the kids club and facilities are so good. We cannot fault our amazing concierge Ashni who looked after us so well this third time.

Great experience!
Overall a perfect stay, very friendly staff and a lovely place. Food at most places delicious, GinYa is definitely the best Restaurant at place. Beach fantastic, Golf courses great, La Reserve unbelievable (Coffee could be better there :-)). Very good planing of tee off times, Catering great.

Overwhelmingly satisfying visit Mauritius
Charming resort with excellent services, nice restaurants, many activities, helpful staff, placed nearby two very good golf courses. The residence host Ashni looked after us like an angel and made our stay unforgettable.

Made to feel very special
This resort was our 2nd hotel in Mauritius. Upon arrival there were a few little niggles because we felt so settled in the first hotel. We addressed these with the hotel and they were instantly ‘on it’, sorting things out for us and making our week here a truly memorable and 5 star experience. There are 9 restaurants on resort and it’s difficult to keep consistency with food quality and service throughout them all but the hotel appreciated and welcomed feedback in order to make improvements where needed which is excellent. Our favourite by far was Ginja (we ate here 3 times). Amazing chef here, with The Chateau a close 2nd. Palmiers Restaurant also very good. We LOVED our beachfront room, waking up to the sound of the waves every morning. Housekeeping was excellent day and night and all staff genuinely friendly & happy. I’d like to say a BIG Thank You to the hotel experience Manager - France, Olivia the Hotel Manager and Adrien who looked after us very well daily and really made our stay here a memorable one and made us feel very special indeed. Thank You all the team at Le Telfair, we had a lovely time and will recommend. 🙏🏻
