Named for famed 19th century naturalist, Charles Telfair, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius embodies beauty and elegance while celebrating its natural, unspoiled backdrop adrift in the Indian Ocean. Stretched across 15 acres atop the sandy shores of Bel Ombre Beach, Heritage Le Telfair's intimate village design includes 20 villas, each with 6-8 rooms that enjoy breathtaking beach views, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that permit abundant natural light to flow into the expansive living quarters. With design inspired by the French Colonial period on the island, rooms are outfitted with dark wood, over sized four-poster beds, lavish drapery and textiles, and a soft palette of light blue, green, and brown hues. En-suite bathrooms include claw-foot tubs in suites, walk-in showers, spacious dressing facilities, and plush bathrobes. At Heritage Le Telfair the smallest details are handled with the greatest care, because your comfort, pleasure, and experience are top priority.

The location is wonderful and the river flowing through the resort and into the ocean breathtaking..😍. The atmosphere was very refreshing perfect for a holiday for both family and couples. I was mesmerized…at how the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are specially and carefully designed to accommodate all guests. Jerome , the Senior Sales Executive , gave us an intensive tour around the hotel. We also got to visit Awali Africa a sister hotel very nice 4 star hotel and we also got to visit the Golf Course. All in all we had a wonderful time there and can recommend these hotels, location, food , service …top notch 👌🏽.

Had a wonderful holiday. The golf courses were great and well organised, transferring our clubs seamlessly between them. Rain caused some muddy issues requiring no carts on the back 9 for a few days, but the exercise was necessary to offset the food and drink. Staff were friendly and helpful. The communication from the front desk via the WhatsApp was very efficient with golf/restaurant bookings and general enquiries . Varshita, Prathna and Sharonne deserve mention. The top restaurants are Ginja and The Chateau with O’Grill just behind them.Food was delicious. Service levels were phenomenal esp Chateau who supplied a surprise birthday chocolate mousse cake , despite me keeping a low profile. The buffets are not at the same standard as the restaurants, but it would be difficult to achieve that. Minor detail is coffee at breakfast is not the best. A flat white could be much improved. Cavendish bar serves very good cocktails with good service. Nitesh, Ademola, Adijat all deserve mention. Room was well cleaned and maintained with credit due to Mendini for that. Spicey was always around with a smile and chat. All in all an excellent trip.
