Named for famed 19th century naturalist, Charles Telfair, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius embodies beauty and elegance while celebrating its natural, unspoiled backdrop adrift in the Indian Ocean. Stretched across 15 acres atop the sandy shores of Bel Ombre Beach, Heritage Le Telfair's intimate village design includes 20 villas, each with 6-8 rooms that enjoy breathtaking beach views, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that permit abundant natural light to flow into the expansive living quarters. With design inspired by the French Colonial period on the island, rooms are outfitted with dark wood, over sized four-poster beds, lavish drapery and textiles, and a soft palette of light blue, green, and brown hues. En-suite bathrooms include claw-foot tubs in suites, walk-in showers, spacious dressing facilities, and plush bathrobes. At Heritage Le Telfair the smallest details are handled with the greatest care, because your comfort, pleasure, and experience are top priority.

We recently stayed at Heritage Le Telfair for my birthday weekend, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly pampered throughout our stay. A special thank you to the General Manager, Mr Grel, Mr Suren, Miss Heena, and Miss Anais for their exceptional hospitality, kindness, and dedication in making our celebration so memorable. The food was excellent, with a great variety of delicious options, and the atmosphere was beautiful, relaxing, and perfect for a special occasion. We felt genuinely welcomed, cared for, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Highly recommended, and we look forward to returning soon!

Location was beautiful. The luscious nature reserve and the gorgeous sea was the best of both worlds. The atmosphere was so friendly & welcoming, very relaxing. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beach front/pool rooms were an amazing location. It was lovely and peaceful in the evenings for our little ones to sleep. The amenities were pretty perfect, theres a few areas of improvement, kids club and some ramps as there are many steps especially with a buggy. The overall value was incredible. The people, the food, the location, the atmosphere was worth every penny.

Excellent service and courteous staff. They were responding in minutes on WhatsApp throughout the day. Helping with restaurant reservations, activity bookings and making whatever accommodations. The location is scenic and the atmosphere is relaxing. Exactly as advertised.

My husband and I were looking for a luxury beach escape in a beautiful part of Mauritius, and that’s exactly what we found at Le Telfair. The hotel, pools and garden are immaculate. The multiple pool areas and restaurants spread across the generously sized grounds, offering plenty of variety and are right on a perfect white sand beach. As a couple we were expecting to spend our time at the adult only pool but the main pool was equally quiet and relaxing. Le Telfair was perfect for us - neighbouring hotel Awali opens up even more restaurants and pools and offers a slightly livelier atmosphere. We hired a car for the day and found the hotel’s location great for exploring the Black River Gorge National Park (a hike; view points; wild monkeys), the Hindu temple at Grand Bassin, the 7 Sand Geo Park and a drive back past the green rock of La Morne Brabant. All within 30 minutes drive. It is the staff who make Le Telfair a faultless experience - genuinely ensuring you have everything you need for the best possible stay. We’d like to say a particular thank you to Spicy, who made us laugh and shared her advice on restaurants and places to visit. And to Anais for organising our daily restaurant bookings. We don’t normally return to the same place twice, but we have both said we’d love to come back to this beautiful island.
