About the Hotel
Named for famed 19th century naturalist, Charles Telfair, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius embodies beauty and elegance while celebrating its natural, unspoiled backdrop adrift in the Indian Ocean. Stretched across 15 acres atop the sandy shores of Bel Ombre Beach, Heritage Le Telfair's intimate village design includes 20 villas, each with 6-8 rooms that enjoy breathtaking beach views, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that permit abundant natural light to flow into the expansive living quarters. With design inspired by the French Colonial period on the island, rooms are outfitted with dark wood, over sized four-poster beds, lavish drapery and textiles, and a soft palette of light blue, green, and brown hues. En-suite bathrooms include claw-foot tubs in suites, walk-in showers, spacious dressing facilities, and plush bathrobes. Outstanding holiday in a great hotel with fantastic golf courses
We spent two weeks in November 2025 at this fantastic place and can highly recommend it! If you are interested in good golf, a relaxed atmosphere, highly motivated staff and really good food this is the place to go for. We stayed in a beach view appartment the adult only area as a couple and our personal client manager (Mr. Noor) to great care of our requirements. Staff was always very friendly and helpful and any requests were quickly fulfilled. The two golf courses (Chateau and La Reserve) were in great shape and the views to the sea are unforgettable. Especially La Reserve is an experience!!! There a re a great number of restaurants to choose from with a large variety and we felt always well served. The fine dining restaurant at the Chateau as well as the Ginja at the beach front were our favourites. We will hopefully be back next year 🤩👍

A great hotel
We received excellent attention from very courteous staff. All staff were polite & greeted you when passing. The restaurants are all different & the food superb. There are numerous facilities & the two golf courses offer plenty of challenge for all levels of golfer.

Our third great stay
Our third time back at Heritage and we loved it as ever A bit sad to see that kids can no longer dine at Ginja except for Wednesdays, and also the addition of an adult only area where we used to say. The hotel felt a bit more geared up to adult golfers than previous years A shame when the kids club and facilities are so good. We cannot fault our amazing concierge Ashni who looked after us so well this third time.

Great experience!
Overall a perfect stay, very friendly staff and a lovely place. Food at most places delicious, GinYa is definitely the best Restaurant at place. Beach fantastic, Golf courses great, La Reserve unbelievable (Coffee could be better there :-)). Very good planing of tee off times, Catering great.

Overwhelmingly satisfying visit Mauritius
Charming resort with excellent services, nice restaurants, many activities, helpful staff, placed nearby two very good golf courses. The residence host Ashni looked after us like an angel and made our stay unforgettable.
