Named for famed 19th century naturalist, Charles Telfair, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius embodies beauty and elegance while celebrating its natural, unspoiled backdrop adrift in the Indian Ocean. Stretched across 15 acres atop the sandy shores of Bel Ombre Beach, Heritage Le Telfair's intimate village design includes 20 villas, each with 6-8 rooms that enjoy breathtaking beach views, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that permit abundant natural light to flow into the expansive living quarters. With design inspired by the French Colonial period on the island, rooms are outfitted with dark wood, over sized four-poster beds, lavish drapery and textiles, and a soft palette of light blue, green, and brown hues. En-suite bathrooms include claw-foot tubs in suites, walk-in showers, spacious dressing facilities, and plush bathrobes. At Heritage Le Telfair the smallest details are handled with the greatest care, because your comfort, pleasure, and experience are top priority.

Our long weekend at the Heritage Le Telfair was a very enjoyable and relaxed getaway. We enjoyed the excellent facilities and general friendliness of all the staff. We will (and have already) recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you!

Just returned from another fabulous holiday at Le Telfair. it really is the most wonderful place. The moment you arrive you feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere and begin to relax. Your personal butler takes care of the necessary arrival paperwork while you sit and sip a chilled glass of champagne. That done you are escorted to your suite. Beautifully appointed and with a balcony or terrace. The bed is large with crisp white linens and the bathroom, with separate bath and shower, has fluffy white towels As you walk round Le Telfair you will enjoy the lovely gardens and the peace for no matter how busy the hotel is there is so much space it never feels crowded. I would recommend taking the gourmet bliss package. It is the best all inclusive I have had as all premium drinks are included and , importantly if you are a golfer, includes your golf cart. Restaurants throughout the Domain are also included. All the restaurants are very good and offer high quality dining with excellent service My personal favourite is Le Chateu. Michelin star quality in a beautiful historic Plantation house A beautiful place to dine with excellent foods complimented by impeccable service. By day the gardens are well worth visiting Golfers are spoiled by two impressive and challenging courses. The new La Reserve is spectacular.. Amazing views over the Indian Ocean as you wind your way down the hillside. We played most days so appreciated having a buggy for both courses. In some reviews there have been concerns over the numbers of children. This is being addressed as there is soon to be new adults only wings with a separate pool and new rules in some of the restaurants I titled my review “A Ten Star Resort”because in my opinion it is. We are world travellers and have stayed in many 5/6 star luxury hotels but Le Telfair has something they do not — a heart. The heart of the resort is its staff. Each member, from management down want only the best for the guests and all go that extra mile to ensure your holiday is relaxed, carefree and all that you could want For us it has the perfect balance which is why we keep returning. I am already checking flights etc. for our next holiday

This was our third visit to the Heritage Le Telfair. We are pleased to say that we were not disappointed. Under the leadership of Mr Dominique Grel (who makes himself very visible and approachable) the very high standard of service, hospitality, facilities, golf and restaurant options has been maintained. Special mentions to; our superb host as always, Ashniii who looked after as very well as always, thank-you. And to Pricilla whose smiling face welcomes us back every time around the pool. We did comment to Mr Grel a personal observation that the restaurants menu options were leaning more towards Asian, Indian and more spicy options, away from more balanced options that included European cuisine. Awali, the sister hotel has closed its Italian restaurant which disappointed us. We also voiced concerns regarding the intent to make the smaller heated pool “Adult only” later this year when at present families with children use this pool for obvious reasons, it is heated. This pool also does not have the sun as much. The result of this move will be to move families to the larger unheated main pool where currently, from our experience adult guests dominate. This is a personal observation. Finally, although we have mentioned two members of the staff in particular, a very special thank you to all the staff for making our visit so enjoyable yet again!

We experienced a week of refinement, top service, great food in an idyllic location. The hotel staff ensured our experience within the hotel and the excursions were unforgettable. The two golf courses are beautiful, challenging and perfectly maintained.
