Named for famed 19th century naturalist, Charles Telfair, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius embodies beauty and elegance while celebrating its natural, unspoiled backdrop adrift in the Indian Ocean. Stretched across 15 acres atop the sandy shores of Bel Ombre Beach, Heritage Le Telfair's intimate village design includes 20 villas, each with 6-8 rooms that enjoy breathtaking beach views, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that permit abundant natural light to flow into the expansive living quarters. With design inspired by the French Colonial period on the island, rooms are outfitted with dark wood, over sized four-poster beds, lavish drapery and textiles, and a soft palette of light blue, green, and brown hues. En-suite bathrooms include claw-foot tubs in suites, walk-in showers, spacious dressing facilities, and plush bathrobes. At Heritage Le Telfair the smallest details are handled with the greatest care, because your comfort, pleasure, and experience are top priority.

Excellent hospitality and well designed resort for a family holiday with a 17 month baby. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home, special shoutout to Mendini our housekeeper that always made sure we had everything we needed!!

We visited Heritage le Telfair for the first time 7 years ago. It was our first experience of Mauritius and on our 7th visit to the island, we decided to return to the hotel. We had wonderful memories and there was apprehension wondering if the memories we had were still a reality. As soon as we got to the hotel, the welcome was equally as special as we remembered. The reception is calm and welcoming. The check in was super speedy and our concierge Ashni introduced herself and told us to settle in and then she would come to see us. Literally as soon as you walk in, the tiredness of the long journey and the working week are forgotten. Our room was beautiful and had an amazing view. Clean, perfectly appointed and has absolutely anything and everything you wish for. Again the whole experience is serene and tranquil. Our luggage was slightly delayed but Ashni kept us informed without us having to chase. We also realised that TV wasn’t working but in few minutes someone came to resolve the problem. Food - we opted for gourmet bliss which is the AI option - I really can’t compliment the chefs enough - every single restaurant we tried we had absolutely amazing food. The only comment I made to management is that in previous years there were lighter options for lunch - especially amazing salads (tuna niçoise being my favourite) please bring them back Wine choice is also amazing Coffee - Nespresso throughout the resort which makes me very happy 😊 Beach - beach towels are provided and beach service is also available for food and drinks. This is an area where we saw huge improvements. When we came 7 years ago service was random and slow. This time it felt attentive and much quicker. Overall so much I could say about this hotel but in short the customer service is world class, the best I’ve experienced not just in Mauritius. The environment is calm and relaxing. Food is absolutely fabulous. Rooms are beautiful and so spotlessly clean. Everyone does their absolute best to make you feel special. Nevertheless a big thank you to few special people that made our stay even more special - Ashni our concierge - perfect in every way; Yovan at Annabellas who knew I needed a coffee before I even asked, tushita who made our room so beautiful every day and chef at egg station - we chatted lots about our kids and she started my day with a lovely smile. Thank you I know this hotel mainly appeals people who love golf but we are not golfers and we absolutely loved it. We also saw many families with young children and the attention given to those families was fantastic. We look forward to coming back very soon

Excellent environment, rooms and amenities but overpriced. Most of their activities are payable whilst the same are offered elsewhere free of charge. But hats off to the spa and spa staff!

It was our third time at Telfair and we were very happy about our stay. We played golf every day, even if we are beginners, we can choose between a compact and 18 holes. It’s really perfect for the golf lovers🏌️♂️⛳️ Thanks again to the staff of Timomo Kids club 😊: always ready to welcome and entertain your kid with different and funny activities. It is one of the best Kids clubs on the island 👍🏼 If you visit Telfair, don’t forget to eat at Ginja: definitely one of the most delicious Asian restaurant on the island, with a fantastic staff 🙏🏼

One of the best holidays I have ever had. From the quality of the hotel, to the personalised concierge service and the excellent restaurants with a fantastic wine selection. It to mention the experience of dining at Le Chateaux. The beaches are great with a wide variety of water sport options.
