I'm totally impressed with the excellent customer service. Staff here make you feel like an honoured guest and the only time I recall similar treatment is when we had butler service in a well-known adults only hotel in Jamaica for our 25th wedding anniversary that we had paid extra for. Inevitably things can sometimes go wrong and we had a few small teething issues when we first got to our room. When we came downstairs after unpacking and told the lady on reception they immediately and sincerely apologised. We were offered an upgrade which we declined as we'd already unpacked but we DID ask if we could have a complimentary breakfast on our last morning, (as we'd planned to have breakfast then anyway.) Unfortunately, the staff member wasn't able to authorise our request without checking with management first and so we went on with our afternoon. Upon our return we approached reception to find new staff at the desk and we expected to have to explain our request again. However the young man on reception immediately called us over to let us know that our request had been agreed by management. I was so impressed that the young lady had explained the situation to replacement colleagues and had actually described us so the young man recognised us as soon as we approached. It really exemplifies outstanding customer service. I'm not difficult to please but I do really appreciate the respect shown to my husband and I during our stay. The little extra touches in the room and bath, etc as well also cement this hotel as one that goes the extra mile every single day. You truly made our stay a wonderful one and you should be proud of the fantastic work you all do. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Fitzwilliam Hotel in Belfast again.

We booked afternoon tea with prosecco as a little treat and it was absolutely divine. Our experience was made more enjoyable thanks to our waiter Bikaksh whose warmth and pleasant nature enhanced our experience. The afternoon tea itself was beautiful with a wide range of both savory and sweet treats....there was nothing about it I didn't like. We were unable to finish it as there was so much and we got a lovely box to enable us to take it home to enjoy later. I will definitely be returning and hope that I have the pleasure of being served by Bikash again.

I initially booked the hotel through a third party site but contacted hotel direct and I was given a better deal. I booked a signature view room and executive king for a 3 night break. The hotel emailed to offer additional perks. This was my 3rd visit to Belfast and I selected the hotel due to its central location and excellent reviews. I had tickets for the opera next door. LOCATION - . Ideal for bars and restaurants and a 5 minute walk from Grand Central Station. A taxi from Belfast International Airport cost £45 around midday whereas my return bus journey from GCS for both of us was £18. STAFF/SERVICE - lovely welcome from reception on check in and we were accommodated with rooms opposite each other in 803 and 804. We were offered breakfast and also I was given a great recommendation for breakfast at a cafe nearby (Harlem Cafe was amazing - so good we went twice). ROOMS - both immaculate. Beds were comfortable but pillows are a bit soft. I had a bath and a separate shower in the exec room whereas the signature had a double shower which was fantastic! I didn’t bother using my own toiletries as the “Jo Loves” products were really nice. Although it would have been good to have products at the bath. My toilet flush malfunctioned on my last day but it was repaired quickly. . My aunts room had a coffee machine but it did not work and a replacement was provided very quickly but it wasn’t great. tea, coffee replenished daily. Safe provided.
