Spent 3 nights to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Absolutely loved everything about the hotel. Fab room / bathroom with excellent air con which we needed as it was very warm while we were there. Very comfortable beds and room cleaned to a high standard each day and there is a turn down service in the evening. All staff we met were friendly and professional. We did not have breakfast in the hotel preferring to eat out but we did have dinner in the bar on our final night and the food was very good. Valet car parking worked well although it is a little on the expensive side. There is a public high rise car park opposite the hotel. Hotel is located close to the train station and within walking distance of city centre

We experienced a few early problems - your Manager Trisha - listened - checked - and solved the problems for us - turning a not so good experience into something great - well done her and her staff - we will be back for sure - all down to how Trisha conversed and dealt with us - excellent

We ended our vacation in Ireland with three nights at The Fitzwilliam in Belfast. It was a good selection. The hotel is in a great location to walk to restaurants, shopping, and city hall. We had a small suite on an upper floor with a sitting area and a great view of the city out a large half-wall sized window. The room was comfortable and quiet, with little noise coming from the hotel or the city below. The bathroom only featured a single sink, which wasn't ideal. However, it had a large area to accommodate the toiletries for two people, which helped. The shower was large and water was hot, with good pressure. The hotel has a comfortable lobby with lots of sitting areas. It also has access on two sides, which made it easy to come-and-go from several directions when walking. Staff was friendly and helpful. After a pre-planned tour of The Troubles turned out to be a bomb, the concierge quickly booked us a Black Cab Tour that was great. The ride to the areas featured on the tour was about 10 minutes. We never made it to the hotel bar, but it sounded lively. Breakfast was included in our package. It was a mixture of ordering a main course from a server and then hitting a buffet. It was tasty and the breakfast area was pleasant and quiet. I had many gluten free options and did fine with my allergy. We flew in and out of Dublin, which was a 90-minute ride by car service on a Friday morning. Don't feel the need to fly from Belfast if that is not already a good, cost-effective option for you. If you need a good restaurant nearby, we recommend Italian at NOVA. Consider making a reservation, however, if you want to eat earlier than 7:30 or 8:00 in the evening. We would stay at The Fitzwilliam again and would recommend it to others.
