The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast

We visited the Fitzwilliam today for the first time for afternoon tea and it was a great experience. We were welcomed into a sumptuous yet calming bright, beautiful space by very professional and helpful staff. Prior to our booking we had a drink in the lobby with lovely bar staff doing table service for us. The afternoon tea service is fantastic and we will do it again. Hosted in the dining room, we were welcomed by John who is a consummate host, highly professional yet warm and friendly too. The tables are spacious and somehow intimate. Gentle music played in the background. We were served prosecco and mocktails, then a savoury platter for starter which I wasn't expecting but it was enjoyed very much by all of us. The sandwich and cake stands arrived and were incredible. A variety of breads and fillings were used and they were all delicious. Cakes and desserts were also of a variety and very pretty. This is more than just a break when you're shopping in the city, it's a real treat. Also, given the quality, variety and quantity of food served it is well worth the price and I found it more impressive than other venues offering similar

Best hotel in Belfast. Nice staff and very kind, and with a lot of attention to the small details that makes your experience even better. Right at the city center and close to the best restaurants.

Perfect location and attentive staff made for a wonderful stay in this beautiful city. Everyone was helpful. The breakfast was great.

Really enjoyable stay here recently. Lovely hotel in a great central location close to everything, both train stations only a few minutes away by foot. The room was big and comfy, staff very friendly, nice bar area to relax with a drink and at breakfast there’s a great selection, both a la carte and continental. All very enjoyable. Will return here on our next visit to Belfast.

I had a wonderful stay at the Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, with a separate bath and shower which was a lovely touch. The in-room tea, coffee and water selection was excellent and much appreciated. A special mention for the turndown service, coming back to chocolates on my pillow was a lovely surprise and added a real touch of luxury. Most importantly, every member of staff I encountered was friendly, welcoming and professional, making me feel valued throughout my stay. I would highly recommend the Fitzwilliam Hotel and would happily stay there again.
