Just spent two nights at the gorgeous Hotel Bellwether! We had a spacious executive suite on the second floor. It had a luxurious king bed, gas fireplace, soft towels and robes, spa tub, big screen tv, chocolates on the dresser and a spectacular view of Bellingham Harbor!! The first night was the Blues and Brews party on the patio. I had the delicious paella, hubby had ribs while listening to the band and watching the sunset, delightful! Breakfast in the Light house bar was incredible, with an ample omelette, fresh fruit and the best granola ever! The young attentive servers were impeccable here as at the happy hour later! We loved the long walks along the harbor and watching the boats come and go! So peaceful! The turn down service was a nice touch. It's wonderful to have secure, free, gated parking and no resort fees. What an affordable vacation! This hotel is a little piece of heaven, and we will definitely return!

It is funny, I broke my hip, and on this trip Willows Resort sent me to a room with more stairs than a healthy person would want to climb, the staff at Bellwether did not even ask, but sent me to an accessible room. Well, what a great room, a wonderful patio looking out onto the water; I had reserved a water view room with a patio. The room was spacious, the view was wonderful, and it was ready in the early afternoon. I was waiting in line behind a party checking in for a wedding, and another employee saw the frustration in my body language, and quickly came to my aid checking me in. The restaurant only gets mediocre review, but on our return we will give it a try, it is lovely inside and outside. The bar is also cozy. Another plus, besides the wonderful view from the outside dinning patio is that they had their umbrellas up when the next door restaurant did not, and it was hot as a cracker outside.

I LOVE this hotel and will definitely go back! It was first class from the grounds to the front lobby to the rooms. The staff was very pleasant and willing to help. The room was large, with a nice gas fireplace, small patio to sit out and watch the boats go by, nice living area. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept on in a hotel. And one can't say enough about the bathroom...separate shower, jetted tub, soft robes.... great after a long day. The Lighthouse Bar and Grill at the hotel served great food. It was a little pricey but after a long day, we did not want to wander out. I am glad we didn't because the food was exceptional!!! The presentation great and the portion size was perfect. As for the desert, it was almost too good to eat. My only disappointment in the whole place was that they served Starbucks coffee. There was even secured garage parking for free. This hotel was well worth every penny.

It's been years since we last visited and was nice that the Hotel is still a great destination. Very nice property with great views and large, comfortable rooms. Very good bar and restaurant on premises with a fantastic patio. This is a great property!

Staff was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Room was elegant and clean with an amazingly comfortable bed and jacuzzi tub. Insanely gorgeous sunset over the harbor and great food and staff at the restaurant! A definite repeat if we are ever in town again.
