Great! Our room was perfect with a great view of the bay. A fireplace, king size bed and jetted tub. The tube is small so it's a tight for for two. The restaurant on location is great but spendy$$$. The reception is is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and I knew it was nice.. but it is so much more. The rooms are big and have fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs with great views of the water. It is cozy and charming. The staff is excellent and they have a great happy hour in the restaurant. I would have loved to have stayed longer. Everyone is so friendly and you truly feel at home. Thank you Hotel Bellwether!

We stayed last evening at The Bellwether & had a nice stay. Pros: The room was spacious & comfortable, though somewhat dated. King bed was very comfortable. The view from the terrace was beautiful. (you will need the heavy curtains to block out the exterior uplighting at night) Very close to beautiful walking path. Cons: We waited quite a bit to be able to check in, the girl at the front desk had booked someone under the wrong room number ahead of us & was having a very hard time figuring out how to fix the problem. I am gluten free & one of the things we asked about when checking in was that they did have gluten free pancakes for breakfast as their online menu said. They checked & said yes. Disappointed in the morning when we called for room service at 7:05 am & were told they were out of GF pancakes. (they open at 7:00am) The only other GF options were eggs. (not a fan) Upon leaving, we stood at the front desk for approx 5 minutes with no front desk person ever arriving to check us out of the hotel. We left our keys on the desk & departed. Summary: Nice waterfront hotel but service could be better.

Needed to meet with friends in Belllingham so booked a night at Hotel Bellwether. Everything was perfect...I had asked for an early check in if possible...and they did it. We were going for a walk around the Marina so ask if we could stay an extra hour after check out time...and they did it. Everything was clean and perfect for our stay.

Hotel Bellwether was friendly, rooms spacious and with great views of the harbor. Some of the sunsets were like walking thru an art gallery. Restaurant pricey f=but happy hour on the deck delightful. We took a hike on Chucanut trail on one day and had lunch in Fairhaven, very fun.
