We stayed at the Oxford Hotel for 3 nights in a 6th floor in a terrace suite. The view of the snow covered mountains was beautiful. We were fortunate to have a great weather weekend, and the scenery was outstanding. Everyone we came in contact with in the hotel were so friendly and helpful. The front desk was welcoming, the valet parking guys were always friendly and prompt getting the car, a lovely turn down service with Goody chocolates and a super friendly, nice lady that did it each night. There are dozens of amazing restaurants in close walking distance of the hotel, as well as shopping. Bend is a great town, and we are always happy to return. Oxford Hotel will always be the place we stay!

Immaculate rooms, amazing food and the amenities are plentiful. If you are staying at The Oxford you HAVE to try their pillow menu! The beds come with their aloe pillows, which are great, but I decided to try the ylang ylang. The perfect pillow! Jan, Dean and Jason will do everything to make sure you are comfortable and happy, so don't be afraid to pick up the phone to ask for anything you might need. My only two issues with this hotel were the price and the pm staff. Everyone I saw in the afternoon/evening seemed to be a little younger than the rest of the staff, and definitely a lot more relaxed and nowhere near as attentive. They weren't unfriendly, but people expect consistency in guest service all across the board at places like this. Overall, a pleasant experience.

We loved everything about the Oxford. The staff were friendly and helpful, room service was fast, the hot tub in the fitness room was great, the views from our room were gorgeous, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was enormous and the kitchen was well stocked. The location is really convenient too. Being in the middle of everything, we were within walking distance or a short drive to anywhere we wanted to go.

Awesome location in downtown Bend close to all the best restaurants in town. Super friendly staff and a General Manager who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. And super deluxe rooms and gym/hot tub/sauna. They have bikes out front which are a great way to see the town. Couldn't have been better!

Pros: The hotel was very clean, ideally located in Bend, and had a nice steam room and sauna located on the 7th floor. The French Press in the room was thoughtful. Cons: The bed wasn't that comfortable, and we woke up in the middle of the night burning up. We woke up the next morning with our lips cracked and bleeding and our throats burning because the air in our room was so dry. The fitness room was average for a hotel, and was definitely nothing special. There was one bench, the free weights had super think handles, the mats were falling apart, the Swiss balls were deflated, and although they had plenty of space for a 9' high pull-up bar, theirs was below 7' with a very thick width. The food I ordered from room service was ridiculously over priced for the amount and quality I received. The glasses provided to us in our room were tiny. That's not ideal in a dry environment. If you're staying during the week you have to pay for parking at the parking garage. Overall, we wouldn't stay again.
