Hate to review this for my own selfish reasons, but it's already been said in some of the other reviews. If you're going to that little slice of heaven known as Bend, Oregon, The Oxford really is the only place to stay. Located in the small quaint downtown section of Bend, this boutique hotel does most everything right. From the personal service, to the valet, to the restaurant/bar (10 Below). The beds and bedding are some of the most comfortable I've ever experienced. The rooms are well appointed and I'm pretty sure I could live in one of the large corner suites for a month straight. (Huge balcony, full kitchen, separate large den). Don't have a single bad thing to say about this place! Tips: All views face downtown. Rooms with balconies are preferred in the summer when the weather is nicer. The presidential suite has a steam shower which is pretty awesome.

This boutique hotel is the only place to stay in Bend. It's located right in town. You can walk anywhere from here. But the crowning achievement of the hotel is the staff, from the doormen and beyond. The rooms are awesome! They have full suites that can easily accommodate a seasonal stay, complete with kitchenette (including mini-dishwasher!), sitting area and small dining area and TWO televisions, one for the living area and one for the sleeping area. If you're staying anywhere in Bend, a lovely little town, stay at the Oxford! Can't wait to go back.

I was surprised by my daughter, son-in-law and husband with a long weekend getaway to Bend, altho I didn't know that was the destination until on the road. The fall weather was perfect for a trip to that area, which is so beautiful. From the moment we pulled in front of the hotel, the good service got started. Valet greeted us, answered questions about the parking, and we got into reception and checked in easily. Reception is warm and comfortable, with staff working behind 2 desks, so visitors can sit and be comfortable during check in. There is an area to one side with chairs and fireplace. Decor is modern and inviting, since this is a 10 year old boutique hotel in downtown Bend. Great location, and you park you car and are able to walk to great places to eat and shop and be entertained. Easy walk to the Mill shopping area for more places to enjoy while dining and shopping. The guest suites are large and comfortable, and the en suite has a comfortable shower, nice tub for relaxing, and toilet in its own closet. We had a king-sized bed suite, corner room which afforded us a great view of downtown and the mountains in the distance. So beautiful. Under one window was a built-in lounging area, large enough to sleep on. Nice big wing-back chair with ottoman to enjoy while reading or watching TV. One of the best things ever was the coffee service: French press coffee maker, with an electric pot for heating water. It was the best thing to have early in the morning before going for a long walk, the out to brunch. Tea also available if one chose to have it. Service all around was outstanding. It is a must do for a special visit to Bend, and for my birthday, this could not have been any better. Great weekend!

My husband and I spent one night there on our annual drive to the desert. We loved everything about it! I wish we would have discovered it years ago. The staff were exceptional! It was as if they were welcoming us into their home. Our car was 4 days old and they made sure we had parking to protect it. We ate at their restaurant 10 Below. The food and service were wonderful. The breakfast restaurant next door had delicious wraps and juices. The hotel location was very convenient in downtown Bend. This will be our new yearly stop!

Booked in a balcony suite and what a great room it was. The room was stylish with some heavy wood panels and unique accent pieces all over. Hotel even gave use a bottle of champagne because we were celebrating a life event. Rooms were clean and allowed privacy. Out balcony looked out over the street and from there you could see the peaks of the sisters off in the distance. Would recommend.
