The hotel is a great location, with a great view and has top notch hospitality. Rooms are very clean and overall a pleasant stay. The bar and restaurants are great, (bartender is at the top of his game!!) and the social atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment.

I frequently visit the Claremont as I have family nearby and stay probably once every other year. I’ve never had issues with anything there, the staff are very accommodating and kind. However, my most recent stay in June was not like my past experiences. This is not completely the hotel’s fault, but there was an absurd amount of noise throughout the night and early morning coming from the hallway. It almost sounded like aggressive stomping and running up and down the hallway. This continued throughout all 4 nights of our stay. Inside of the rooms there is an air conditioner with a systematic pattern of loudly blowing air for 5 minutes, and then complete silence for around 7 minutes. Let me just say, the air was not a little gust of wind sound like a classic air conditioner. This is loud, serious air flow that was frequently disrupting my sleep. Once I was routinely woken up by the people running through the halls, I was unable to fall back asleep due to the noisy air conditioner. Another issue we had was with the time management of the cleaning service. One of the nights we returned to the room to find that the shower gel and shampoo bottles were missing, had been completely removed from the wall and not replaced. Not an issue and this had an easy solution. At this point I was about to get into the shower, so we called the front desk and asked if they could send up bottles for us. The front desk contacted housekeeping and asked them to send up bottles. About 30 minutes later, there was still no shampoo or shower gel delivered. We called the front desk, who paged housekeeping. We ended up waiting another 15-20 minutes for the bottles to be replaced. This caused us to be very behind on our schedule for the night and was very frustrating.

The front desk person at the hotel, Effie, was fantastic. She was able to check us in early and upgraded us. She was extremely helpful. The Limewood staff was amazing. A shout out to Josh, the evening bartender, for his hospitality and accommodating my late dessert request. Kudos to our Sunday morning server at Limewood, he was cheerful and attentive. Our food was ready so fast even he was surprised. Everything was delicious.
