Claremont Resort & Club

My husband and I recently enjoyed a wonderful staycation at the beautiful Claremont Resort & Club, and it turned into a truly memorable experience. We originally booked a two-night stay so I could relax and recover from some ongoing body pain. Shortly after our first night, I unfortunately realized our room had down bedding, which I am allergic to, and I became ill before discovering the cause. When I notified the front desk, the staff responded immediately. They replaced all of the bedding and even provided an air purifier when I asked if one might be available. I truly appreciated how quickly and thoughtfully the team handled the situation. During our stay we also enjoyed several wonderful meals around the property—from the bar to the café, in-room dining, and the beautiful Limewood restaurant. The food and service everywhere we went were excellent. We also brought our little dog Casper, who was warmly welcomed by both staff and guests. With his sweet personality and stylish blue tail puff, he quickly became quite the little celebrity around the property. The highlight of our visit, however, was the outstanding service we received from Effie Thornton, the Front Desk Supervisor. On the morning we were preparing to check out, I asked Effie if by chance our room might be available for one more night. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked except for a presidential suite that was outside our budget. Instead of simply saying no, Effie continued searching for alternatives and eventually discovered that the Tower Suite was available. She even checked with her supervisor to see if a discounted rate might be possible. Thanks to her extra effort, my husband and I were able to move into the Tower Suite — the only room with access to the tower — and it was absolutely stunning. The experience was so special that we decided to extend our stay an additional night. Effie continued to be incredibly thoughtful and even arranged a late checkout, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our final morning a little longer. Effie went above and beyond to help us, and her kindness, persistence, and professionalism made our stay truly exceptional. Claremont management should be very proud to have someone like Effie representing the property. Because of her—and the wonderful experience overall—we will absolutely return to the Claremont in the future.

I have never had a greeting before like the greeting. I got at this hotel. It was a little chaotic checking in and when jonas checking us in if he lit up a room, he was so welcoming and friendly and accommodating, and just made the hotel experience unforgettable. We are beyond grateful for him.

We've stayed at the Claremont for years and the experience has been wonderful but this time in particular it was incredible. Our check-in has always been a little slower and not the friendliest people but today we had Effie and she was just a delight. She had a magnetic personality. She was very kind. She was very thoughtful and I just can't say enough. It was really a great experience. It's to walk in and be greeted with such a big smile after a long flight. Old world charm and views to die for. The room was also very nice and the service wonderful. The facilities include two huge heated outdoor pools and a serious gym with steam room and sauna. Maria at reception was super welcoming and made us feel very special helping celebrate our anniversary. We are very thankful ❤️

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at the Claremont Club & Spa, A Fairmont Hotel. The rooms were cozy, comfortable, and very relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even better. The views of the bay were beautiful, and the location is perfect—close to great restaurants and stores. Everything about our stay felt special, and we would definitely love to come back
