I chose to stay here with my family to celebrate my 50th birthday. One of the reasons I love the Claremont is being welcomed by such a kind staff, especially Effie. She always takes the time to make me and my children feel invited and special. Her smile and presence at check in is a highlight for us. The wait staff in the restaurant and the valet boys are also very warm and professional. We can’t wait to go back .

Effie is incredible. Your establishment should be very lucky to have someone like her. She has warmth humour and hospitality. I ran a hospitality business that turned over 200mm per year and I would take her any day of the week. My partner and I came here to have a relaxing Monday and she has made our stay wonderful. Please ensue she is recognised for her wonderful hospitality. As a side note - the gentleman who is hosting at the bar near the entry is truly bizarre. He slammed the door right in front of my partner and I and stoned off after we asked where a trash can Wass. Very strange!

The rooms are quiet and large, but there’s a lot to be desired. The resort part is rented out to Neighbors as a club so it’s super crowded and not enticing at all. We asked for our car to be brought around and they had the wrong key for it the food would I say is very average. We ask if there was any dairy in the bread and no one knew they couldn’t find out. He only asked one person that was that so I ended up ordering potatoes and broccoli

To Whom it may concern, My name is Andrew William DiCrisi. I am a graduate student and have been studying philosophy and theology in Berkeley for the past three years. Over my time here, I have visited the Claremont Hotel consistently and have always been impressed. It truly is a testament to the elite character of Bay Area culture and social life. So much so that I visit Limewood on Sundays after Mass at St. Albert's Priory down the street. To my memory, there is no superior modus operandi for a Sunday other than Mass followed by a formage blanc omelet at Limewood. May God bless Florentino for his hospitality and charm. However, over the past three months, I have started to frequent the Claremont Lounge. I could not have asked for a better climate that fosters a contemplative attitude and a jovial atmosphere on Tuesdays for Jazz. Emily, our server, is sincerely sui generis. It is a rare occurrence to meet people like her, and unfortunately so. She has done nothing other than be excellent. Thank you, very much, to whoever reads this message. Its intention is to express my gratitude to the hotel and its staff. I will keep coming back as long as Juan is making Sazeracs, Flo is stirring friendship, and Emily is present. May God bless you! Sincerely, Andrew W. DiCrisi
