What a great place! Seeped in tradition, with the grace of yesterday’s quiet hospitality, yet providing today’s conveniences in a seamless manner. From check-in to check-out the staff made you feel special… desk personnel, club/spa, bartenders, wait staff, and especially the housekeeping staff c are presented the property, themselves and the total experience in a subdued, professional manner.

Effie takes incredible care of me every time I stay here (which is a lot). Nice to find a place that makes you feel so welcome.

We recently visited for the Holiday Tea and were not disappointed. We had our two young boys with us, and my wife and I loved the tea selection and the incredible spread. The setting in the Hillary Tenzing Room off the lobby lounge was truly beautiful, with spectacular views that made the experience feel even more special. The ambiance, service, and value were exceptional. We’ve enjoyed several high teas elsewhere, and this is definitely at the top. So glad we were able to share this with our family.

The personal care and service at the reception is exceptional. We travel all over the world but personal attention like we get is unique. The hotel location and atmosphere is the best in the bay area. It's clean and comfortable - you want to ask for a room not too far from the elevators. The club and swimming pool are fantastic. It's value is clear this hotel/resort is our only option in the area. We visit often and Effie at the reception have been providing excellent personal friendly service over many years.

I have been coming to The Claremont for years and the staff consistently goes above and beyond. I look forward to seeing so many familiar faces each year: Effie, Denise, and Bobbi are always fantastic.
