We are repeat clients (restaurants, spa, event spaces) and had a $500 gift card. I am disappointed that the Spa closed and hope a new Spa design or concept will be built. The historic hotel is beautiful and iconic.

I stay at the Claremont often for business trips. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s a pleasure to stay there.

I was visiting Berkeley for a wedding and a concert so decided to try the Claremont. This place is 5 star. I wish I was able to stay longer to take advantage of all of the resort amenities. My Jr suite was perfect! I took a relaxing bubblebath and a nap before going out in the evening. The linens were lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The room was quiet. The staff is super warm, friendly and helpful. The in room espresso was delicious.

This was my very first time staying at the Claremont Resort & Club, and it exceeded every expectation from start to finish. It has officially earned a spot as one of my top choices whenever I need a place to stay. The entire team made us feel welcome right away. Check-in was an absolute breeze thanks to Maria, Jonas, and Sarah, who provided exceptional, attentive, and warm customer service that set the tone for a fantastic stay. A special shoutout to John at the East Bay Provision Co. - his crafty, delicious oak latte was unbelievable and quickly became a highlight of my morning. Every detail of our experience was top-tier, and I cannot wait to return!

My son wanted to see the Claremont hotel up close. He is an aspiring architect and was excited to visit the hotel for the first time. I had no idea of what to expect. We went to the front desk and met Mary. Mary was so awesome to us. She gave us a mini tour of the Hillary Tensing Room which is a room dedicated to Edmond Hillary and Tenzing Norgay the first climber to summit Mt Everest. She also helped guide us around the hotels most amazing views and features. Mary was super nice to us and we really appreciated her hospitality. She let us know that there are historical tours every Saturday at 2pm. Thank you mary for making our experience so memorable.
