Claremont Resort & Club

Our group chose the Claremont for a team offsite that spanned over 3 days and 2 nights and couldn't have asked for a better place to hold our meetings. The Sales Management team Denise was extremely kind in ensuring all of our needs were met. Daniel from Encore AV walked through all of our with clarity and made sure to accommodate all of our rooming/tech needs. I walked away from each meeting informed and reassured. Mike who was our AV Tech the day of was answered all of our questions earnestly and provided so much care and support that it helped us run through the show smoothly. Dairy as our main point of contact for the day of needs made the programming run well. Front desk staff including Effie made each interaction easy for our over 100 guests checking in. Sara and Laura at concierge answered all of our questions with care. I especially loved how high touchpoint each team member was to ensure our event ran smoothly. One of the guests stated the event felt so easy and well put together and this couldn't be done without the staff. In regards to the amenities, our guests were able to enjoy the wonderful swimming pool and indoor/outdoor gyms. The indoor area was very well kept however the outdoor gym did have a few cobweb surrounding the equipment. I personally enjoyed the reformer room. Each meeting space was well decorated. Our team favorite was the Empire Ballroom with the hanging chandeliers. We also used other breakout rooms such as Skyline A, Skyline B, Temescal, and Kensignton which were all well suited to serving the smaller break out room purpose. Our teammates felt most connected in the smaller room contents and the layouts were perfect for this. The rooms are definitely on the more vintage side with lovely velvet and marble touches. I really enjoyed the rain shower and view outside my window. I think the room itself has a tendency to run colder. The bedding and pillows were notably comfortable! The rooms each had their own charm and was a refreshing take for a resort whereas most regular hotels are plainly modern. In general food was decent especially for a hotel. The snack variety for the guests was very well put together. We did have some feedback that the continental breakfast option was a bit on the sweeter side but our other breakfast and lunch were well received, especially the lunch tiramisu. Some folks had an extra dinner at the Limewood and responded quite positively to the menu. The habachi is a MUST order. Overall, I would recommend this location to any of my colleagues and would be excited to host our next event here again.

The Claremont Resort is in a lovely location, the rooms are beautiful and have all the amenities needed. On arrival I was greeted by the most wonderful front desk staff, Effie. She went above and beyond to ensure the check in process was seamless, and her joyous personality got the trip off to a great start. Thank you Effie!!

Beautiful hotel and had the best greeting from Effie on the front desk. She was so helpful, kind and really helped us out big time! Can’t wait for the next 6 days here.

This is my third time at the Claremont in each time Effie assisted me or my wife here. She is the most hospitable receptionist hostess I have ever worked with. We had several complications with our rooms one time and Effie was so responsive, kind, and helpful. She has a sense of joy, care and kindness Emanating from her. Both a deep kindness and a professionalism. I couldn’t recommend a few more highly. She is a gem.

The staff in the hotel lobby lounge are excellent. I am there often and each time they provide courteous, efficient customer service. Rafa and Juan make superb martinis for me, Emily provides kind and cheerful attention to whatever I need, Arun and Leland make certain the customer’s physical comfort is satisfied.
