My wife and I have just returned from a 4 day city break in Berlin. The one positive aspect of staying at the Hilton hotel is its central location and its close proximity to the major tourist attractions. The breakfast is excellent. However, there were a number of issues. We selected a room on the hotel’s App but this room was not ready at hotel’s published checkin time. The room we were allocated was just above a nightclub and the noise from the club and the street went on until 6am in the morning! The bathroom of a room my sister was staying had a bad smell but the hotel staff sent no one to check on it. The worst aspect of our stay was the attitude of some of the hotel staff. I was verbally abused by a member of the restaurant staff for sitting in a reserved area where another member of staff had told me to sit because there were no other free tables in the restaurant. I was greatly embarrassed and humiliated in front of many other hotel guests. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. For a 5 stay hotel, we received 1 star service. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent hotel ,close to the town centre .rooms very modern and clean.walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops .great location for exploring Berlin.staff were very friendly .great breakfast.would definitely recommend.The Bar area is very small considering the size of the hotel .

This is a great location for exploring Berlin for first-time visitors. We had issues with our room, the air-conditioning was non-existent. There isn't very much storage or room to have our suitcases open. We finally put one on the glass desk with one of the Hilton robes under it so it wouldn't scratch the desk. The shower/bath combination is a killer for anyone over 55 - I slipped and almost killed myself. We requested a room change or a tub mat and only after my husband put in the 2nd request was this done. The elevator wait time (for 4 elevators) was ridiculous. Usually, only one or 2 were working so it made it hard to get down to the lobby in a reasonable amount of time. Once, the elevator showed up on our 6th floor almost filled because guests got in on lower floors even when it was going up so they could ride it back down. We had left our room for hours at a time several days and of the 4 days that it needed servicing there were 2 days that we didn't have to call down to get this done. We had even called to say "We're leaving our room could we please have it serviced" and they only actually serviced it when my husband called. One day it never got done (although we were out of the room for 6 hours from 10 AM on) so we just requested fresh towels. Very disappointing! The Executive Lounge was nice and always kept clean. We used it for our small pre-touring breakfast as well as in the evenings to wind down. That was the nicest part of our visit. The concierge was helpful, but again they looked past me and at my husband for his question. Of course he didn't have a question, I did.

Happy to return to this hotel after 3 years and again pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located in the city center, close to everywhere. As Diamond members , we received an improved room with a view of the cathedral. The breakfast was very high quality with a huge selection. I would especially like to point out the special treatment we received from Monica - the reception manager. She took care of all our needs and solved all our problems. May every hotel be blessed with such a reception manager! We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Berlin

The person in charge of the lounge is not good at dealing with diamond membership holders today 5/4/2024 at 6 pm He spoke inappropriately to an inmate who has a Diamond membership, so how does he talk to the rest of the inmates He said that it is forbidden to take a bottle of water and a bottle of Coca-Cola outside How do I leave the rest of the bottle after opening it Is it okay to throw in the trash
