There were some positives however it's not a five-star experience. On the plus side, the staff were great and the room was impressively spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable - I had some of the best sleep of my trip. The overall quality of the accommodation was evident in these aspects. However, there were several frustrations that impacted my stay. The noise from the corridor was quite noticeable and disruptive, particularly during evening hours. The shower pressure was disappointingly weak, making for a less than refreshing experience each morning. I was also surprised to find no conditioner provided - something I'd expect at this price point. you also can't control the air conditioning in the room which is very strange for a modern 5 star hotel.

All around excellent hotel with nice rooms, wonderful staff, great restaurants [main restaurant is Michelin 2 star], full gym and spa. Location is great for many tourist sites in Berlin - easy walk to Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, etc. Also close to lots of shopping and restaurants as well as the subway. The only reason it did not get 5 circles is it is located on a busy and noisy street - sirens, yelling, partying - that made it difficult to sleep even with my room on the 8th floor.

Excellent place to stay in Berlin

We had a beautiful room that was much bigger than we normally see in Europe. It was comfortable and quiet with a ton of storage space and a large bathroom. Easy walk to sites such as the Brandenburg Gate and to the subway station. Thermostat is under the hotel’s control, which was unusual in our experience, but they changed the temperature quickly when we asked. We didn’t eat or have drinks there so I can’t comment on that. It’s a lovely hotel that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

A Great Hotel close to Tiergarten, not far from the Brandenburger Tor. I would have liked the SPA to have been open in the morning, and this was the only minus for us.
