The Mandala Hotel

Loved it, very comfortable location, high quality design and helpful staff. The restaurant quality is impeccable, restaurant itself is an experience I'll always suggest now to any visitors to Berlin. Overall we were very pleased with the experience. Only note I could provide is the sudden random noises from the cinema nearby while going but they were very faint and did not interrupt our sleep anyhow as the rooms themselves are very well isolated. We left with very warm feelings towards the delightful staff of this pleasant hotel.

Near Potsdamer Platz in a great location, my room was wonderful with a long bath and private balcony. I loved my pedicure and would have liked a massage! Wish I was still there….

After we departed we received an email that they discovered a damaged table and it will cost 150 euros to repair. We didn’t cause damage to anything in the room. Such an event has never happened to us before. There are plenty of other hotels in the area.

This is a very lovely hotel in a prime location, but there are some improvements needed. First, there is no benefit to being a Marriott Bonvoy member (even as Titanium Elite, not even breakfast). Second, our room was missing a few items (towels!) so we had to call the staff a few times because they forgot about us. There’s also no place to grab coffee in the morning inside the hotel, we were told the coffee bar opens at noon. The staff were all very friendly and the property was well maintained, so not an awful stay by any means.

The Mandala Hotel is in the perfect location so close to the Berlin Mall and lots to do and see around the area. Staff was super nice upon check in and throughout the week. I loved the custom pillow menu, I am such a stickler on my pillow and they had the perfect one! The hotel was super clean, we stayed in the Suite Room 1026. Breakfast staff was amazing, Ling, Duc and Thao and everyone working were a delight and a pleasure to see first thing in the morning. They made us feel so welcomed every morning. When we checked out, it was 5AM because we had a very early flight back home to Scotland we forgot some records we purchased at the flea market. My husband called and emailed the front desk and they were so nice and shipped the records back to us with no questions asked. Amazing above and beyond customer service, much appreciated! We had a wonderful stay for my 50th birthday!
