All aspects of my stay at the Beverly Wilshire were tremendous; accommodations, F&B and staff and service were all phenomenal. My only problem was that it was too short but that is on me! nesxt time, I'll stay longer.

Perfect location for high end shopping. Room rates are expectedly on the high side but we were quite disappointed as rooms are not spacious and interiors are tired and old with worn out carpets, faded drapes and wallpaper. They're in desperate need to invest in a great interior decorator to upgrade the rooms otherwise it just greatly falls short of the prestige and standards that is seemingly attached to the BW name. That said, their bed is the most comfortable I have slept on! Had great sleep throughout the stay! I found my personal experience in the hotel as somewhat of a cold atmosphere, staff opening door without any greetings, housekeeping staff sharing the lift not greeting either. Was a different feeling altogether by comparison when I was in another hotel in San Francisco just before this, the staff there was so overwhelmingly warm and courteous, really made our stay feel like a home away from home. Our stay here at BW ended in a rather sour note as my daughter has lost an amethyst pendant in the room that we promptly reported but was never recovered by the hotel security. It wasn't expensive but sentimental as we had bought it at Arizona, Grand Canyon, we were disappointed it could go missing in the room where we had left it as we were out for the day.
