Great service, nice campsite, wonderful and warm glamping staff. Miscommunication with the cell tower ... had to to go to the resort, endured short questioning at front gate every time I showed up. Not so friendly restaurant staff, felt rushed to get out when I brunched there. Was told my dog could only roam in one corner of the patio even though the whole thing was open. Waiter got my check early before I was done ordering drinks. Food and mimosas were good but I didn't feel welcomed. Amazing, to-die-for views. Tent was great, had everything I needed. Bathhouse was awesome as well. Plenty of firewood for my bonfires. Would come back... but not to resort or restaurant because the staff could definitely be warmer and friendlier. Glamping staff, esp Jaime, guy with curly hair and woman with short hair were all wonderful. Tesla lvl2 charger by restaurant is broken (doesn't charge and red status light the entire time I was there... tesla drivers who don't pay attention prob didn't notice). good thing glamping staff got my charging set up by tent site. Tesla drivers should remember to bring their EV adaptors unless they are staying at resort... valet guys at resort should have the requisite adaptors

You need to make sure that guests staying at your resort rooms and paying overinflated charges get to benefit from the amenities specially on a busy long weekend like Presidents’ Day wknd when passer byes will also be interested in the spa and restaurant and will undoubtedly crowd up those facilities.

Very expensive, but beautiful resort. Very attentive staff, and rooms are gorgeous. The meals we had included a Valentine's prix fixe menu, which was quite average, and costly. The servers rushed us through it, and so that made for a much faster experience than we had anticipated. Was shocked at the high cost of breakfasts. Lovely ambiance, but prepare to pay. Spa services were enjoyable, but quite expensive. I'd recommend this beautiful resort for those who aren't watching their expenses, but want a unique experience. Again, the staff members are quite welcoming and accommodating.

Went for a long weekend. Even for hotel guests, the restaurant had a long wait for every meal and it took almost an hour to get our food. Also, for those of you looking for a quiet escape, the restaurant and surrounding area allows children (contrary to what the website advertises about an adult only resort), which destroys the peaceful atmosphere.

Flat out one of the best times we've ever had! We love the Alila brand and have stayed at other resorts of Alila and they never let us down. Ventana the only USA Alila hotel is just as accommodating as the others. Their staff are highly skilled in luxury resort service and made us feel at home. They offer shuttles to local restaurants, they offer hiking options and glamping. We took advantage of their spa treatments and had a wonderful relaxing stay. Resort is close to many hiking trails which was convenient. Their restaurant the Sur House had some of the best dishes i've ever had. Chef Paul Corsentino even met us as we arrived, that's how they are, make you feel right at home and the dishes were just amazing. Sooooo good. I can't say enough about this place, you can't go wrong, book a trip here and enjoy everything that comes along with Ventana. The window to relaxation, comfort and 5 star service.
