Our trip to Ventana was wonderful! My husband and I loved our room, and the spa was so nice and relaxing. It was the perfect weekend getaway. Next time we would love to test out there camp grounds. I would highly recommend this inn & spa for anyone wanting a quite, relaxing getaway.

Stayed here for a night when travelling up the coast from LA to SF, we'd heard amazing things about this place and its reputation is well-deserved. Check-in process was smooth and welcoming and we took advantage of a cheese buffet and free head massage on arrival. Our room was located above reception had huge ceilings and a balcony looking out to the pacific. We ate in the Ventana restaurant, going for the tasting menu which was exceptional. A great nights sleep was followed by a yoga class and then an informative guided walk around the beautiful grounds, all included in the stay. We only stayed one night but were so relaxed it felt like we'd been there a week. Its not cheap but as an overall experience I would say it's actually good value.

Ventana was one of our stops on our California coast honeymoon. It was amazing!!!! We absolutely cannot wait to go back. The whole resort was so incredibly tranquil and relaxing. We spent most of the time hiking around the grounds, unwinding by the pool, enjoying the Japanese hot baths and complimentary cocktail hour. The room was gorgeous, also, really enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning & the incredible view. Staff was top notch and very friendly. They upgraded our room and there was champagne waiting there for us :-) Thanks Ventana Inn for making our honeymoon extra special!!!

I admit I was spoiled across the street... the attention to detail is not as evident here, but that's not to say that it's not an incredible property. The rooms are bigger, but the amenities are not as nice and abundant. Breakfast and mini bar are not included, which I would have expected for the price. Food was nonetheless delicious and we enjoyed our getaway tremendously. If I had nothing to compare it to, I would have been completely satisfied.
